Chapter 6: Shopping [Part II]

Leo's POV

"No it should be this one!" N-hyung said as he points at the meteorite looking ring with an opal colored swirling on it on the shelf.

"Duh! This one suits better on Hongbin doofus!" Jaehwan answered as he points to a tungsten black and rose gold stepped edge ring.

"Doofus?! You buffoon! You don't have the eye for what suits the best for Hongbin!" N-hyung spats back as he stares daggers at Jaehwan.

"Bu-bu-what?! You Arsehole!"

"Dimwit!"

"Beetlehead!"

"Bonehead!"

"Fishwife!"

"Hooplehead!"

"Twatwaffle!"

I groaned as I listened to their endless bickering as I stand in front of one of the shelves eyeing a ring that caught my attention. It has a rose gold plating with a diamond stone in the middle. I tried to tone down their bickering as a sales lady approach me.

"Is there something you would like to see sir?" she said as she flashed her smile while tucking her hair behind her ear in a flirtatious way. 

I tried my best not to roll my eyes on her and showed her my fake smile. It is noticeable that she is doing her best in flirting with me, I mean she is not ugly but I don't swing that way and I love Hongbin with all my heart that It doesn't come to my mind on cheating on him. He is the perfect boyfriend that I could wish for and I thank his mom for giving birth to such an angel.

"May I see this one?" I pointed at the ring that I am looking at earlier. She nodded and winks at me. This time I just let my eyes roll in annoyance. Well, she will not see it though because she is busy getting the ring out the shelf where it is displayed.

"Wanker!"

"Trollface!"

"Meanie!"

"Hmph, you're the one who is mean fishbrain!"

"Will you guys stop bickering and both of your languages, please? Please have some decency, were in public." I said in a low voice as I turned my attention to them which cause them to stop bickering.

"You guys are gathering too much attention." I continue as I walk towards them.

"He is the one who started it! Telling me that he knows what suits best for Hongbin!" Jaehwan whines while pointing at N-hyung.

"Well duh! I am the leader, the eldest and I know what is best for everyone!" N-hyung retorted while crossing his arms to his chest.

"Guys, thank you for thinking about what is best for Hongbin. But, I don't think tonight is the time for both of you to prove who knows what's best." I stated as I run my hand through my hair and sighs heavily.

"And also I've already decided what to give him and I just want both of you to tell me your honest opinion about it." I continued as both of them glaring at each other. 

I shake my head because of their childish behavior. I went back to one of the shelves when the sales lady comes back with a navy blue box that I assumed contains the ring I chose for my beloved. Both Jaehwan and N-hyung quickly came to each side of me.

She carefully placed the box in front of me as she opens the lid. Both Jaehwan and N-hyung gasped at the sight of the ring. Both of them looked at me wide-eyed as they look back again at the ring.

"This ring here sir is a 8mm tungsten ring band with rose-gold plating brushed finishing with white cubic zirconia stone." the sales lady explained as he handed me the ring carefully.

"Wow..." Both of them said in awe as they inch their faces closer to the ring to look at it taking in every detail of the ring.

"What do you guys think?" I ask them nervously wanting to know their whereabouts.

"What do we think? The ring is so beautiful!" Jaehwan said admiringly.

"Yeah! Now I'm jealous! I want a ring like this too!" N-hyung said as he pouts, still looking at the ring.

"Do you think Hongbin will like it?" I asked them which made both of them look at me like I just said something dumb.

"Well, duh it's a ring. Nobody doesn't like a ring." Jaehwan sass as a smugly smirk crept into his face.

"Definitely, besides it's you who gave it to him the love of his life and that's what matters." N-hyung states as a matter-of-factly as Jaewhan nods his head in agreement.

"What I'm asking is, will he like it. I don't need your sassy asses." I groaned while rolling my eyes in annoyance. I asked a simple question and they can't give me a simple answer.

"YES!" Both of them replied at the same time which made me smile. I told the sales lady that I will take it and asked her if they can engrave something on it right now, which she politely responded.

It took a while for it to be finished in which N-hyung told me there's an emergency from their home and they needed him, so he left earlier and left me with Jaewhan who is ranting non-stop about things and stuff. When it's finished I sign all the contract and documents needed and paid the ring in-full.

As she handed me the box, my hands are shaking as I put it in my inside pocket for it not to loose as I happily with Jaehwan tailing me exiting the shop. I kept on thinking on how I will give this to Hongbin and also hoping and wishing that he will like my gift.
