Chapter 3: Distract Leo [Part II]

Leo's POV

The fitting for the costume is now done and I'm ready to get out of the room when one of my co-workers holds me in my arms to stop me.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked as I looked back at her.

"Can I talk to you?" she asked in a soft voice that only I, can hear it.

"Is this something important?" I looked at her and takes her hand away from my arms before anyone will see it and make a rumor about it.

"I like you..." she murmured that I can barely hear.

"I beg your pardon?" I asked.

"I like you oppa, I really, really like you oppa." those words made me stop for a second and tries to think if I really heard it all right. Why me? What in the hell did she like about me? There is another guy out there who is better than me, but of course who can resist my charm, that even Hongbin can't.

"I'm sorry" these are the only words that came out from my mouth. What else would I say? I should be honest with her so that it's not that hard on my part on rejecting her.

"I can't like you back, like the way you like me and the reason is that I already liked someone. This someone who is so important to me, that even the stars from the sky, I'm willing to give it all to him. Even if, it's impossible, as long as I can make that person happy." this made her burst into tears, as she silently looked straight into my eyes. Oh please don't cry. What would other say that I made a girl cry? Ugh.

"Find someone who will treasure and love you more than you love them back." I continued calmly and pats her on her head like a child hoping that she will stop on crying.

"Congratulations." she replied, still tears running down her face. I look around to see if anyone is watching us and thankfully no one is around.

"I hope you will be both happy forever oppa." she continued as she wipes away the tears from her face.

"I'm sorry for bothering" and a smile was seen on her face. Whilst, I just looked at her wondering, that she is some crazy girl that a while ago crying for me rejecting her and now smiling like an idiot in front of me.

"Let me have one last request from you oppa." she asked as she fiddles with her fingers. What is it now that she wants from me. It's better not to be something else.

"Can you just forget all the things that I've said to you today?" and I sighed in relief and looked at her.

"What is it? Which one? I can't even remember that you're telling me something. You know, I'm suffering from a short-term memory loss." I answered that made her burst into laughter.

"You're so funny oppa..."

"No, I'm not..." I replied and look at my watch. It's already 6:30 PM! Shit! N-hyung and Jaewhan must be probably waiting for me for long now.

"Shit, I need to go now. Bye." I continued as I rushed past her to the door and looked at my phone and saw a missed call from N- hyung.

THIRD PERSON POV [for a better experience]

"Where is he. What took him so long? I thought the fitting is already finished by this time now." Jaewhan said impatiently.

"Can't you just wait silently? Are you not tired of talking?" Hakyeon responded.

"I am tired of waiting." Jaehwan whines as he stomps his feet on the ground like a child.

"Let's just for wait for him a little more okay? He will be here soon." Hakyeon sighs as he runs his hand through his hair.

"What if he ditched us? What if we are waiting here for nothing and just wasting our time?" Jaehwan pouts.

"YAH!! Why are you like that?? Are you born from all the of the negativity in life?" Hakyeon said and he spanks Jaehwan on his arm.

"Ahhh! What I'm trying to say hyung is that 'What if?' Just 'What if'. I didn't say that he really ditched us. Taekwoonie-hyung will never do that to us." He said as he stroked his arm where Hakyeon hits him.

"Arrrghh! Honestly, where is he?! What took him so long?" Hakyeon said irritatedly.

"You know you two are so impatient." Taekwoon said while he walks towards them as he crossed his arms and sigh, while the two of them just look at him, shocked.

"Taekwoonie!" both of them shouted as they jolted out from where they sit.

"Let's go, before I am late for my date with Hongbin." Taekwoon said as he signals both of them to follow him as he walks past them.

"Target Acquired. Leo is with us. Distract Leo, Phase 2: Securing Leo is with us. Clear!" Hakyeon said proudly and this made Taekwoon look at them, curious.

"What are you guys talking about?" he asked as he walks towards them and this made both Hakyeon and Jaewhan nervous.

"Nothing...." Jaehwan shouted, panicking while gripping on Hakyeon's hand.

"We're just you know... Uhmm... thinking about what else do we need to buy so that it will not take more of your time." Hakyeon replied in a flash.

"Yeah! Yeah! You know things... and stuff we need in the dorm." Jaewhan added and this made Taekwoon look at them both wondering what they said to him.

"Then what are you waiting for? Christmas? Let's go! Hongbin is probably waiting for me." He said as he walks away from them.

"Yes, he is really waiting for you~" Hakyeon whispered as both of them giggled.

"I beg your pardon?" Taekwoon looked at them, glaring and both of them stopped giggling.

"Nothing... Just walk." he replied as he signals him to continue walking. This made Taekwoon sighs loudly.

"Distract Leo, Phase 3: Don't let Leo suspect anything. Cleared...." Hakyeon said in a low voice and Jaehwan agreed to it that it made them hug each other and continued on walking, following Taekwoon to the bus station.
