Matt looks down, he is ashamed to the carving on his arm but he responds anyways.
"It's not something you might understand, but I am a monster, I love you but I don't deserve you, so i thought i deserved the pain because I am-"
Tom puts his finger on Matts lips and hugs him tight enough to suffocate him, but Matt doesn't reciprocate
"Shut up, dummy" Tom says in a playful manner," I don't want this, so please stop, for me."
"Okay" Matt says, averting his eyes from Tom and hugging back.
Matt almost feels relieved, that went better than he imagined. He thought Tom would've left by now. He smiles to himself, happy to know that Tom isn't gone. That's when he realizes his situation, Tom is hugging him really hard and breathing down his neck. He's missed that calming breath, he almost wants to fall asleep listening to it and feeling it on his back.
Tom starts to let go of Matt, and looks around the room to find the tray of food Edd left for Matt. He Goes to get it and brings it over to Matt. Matt takes it and starts eating. The silence in the room eats away at Matt, he doesn't know what's going to happen next. When he finished his food, Tom breaks the silence.
"What do you want to do now?" He questions Matt.
Matt thinks about it. He was feeling quite exhausted after everything that happened, so he finds the perfect thing to do.
"Let's nap together. I think I'd feel safer if you were here with me." and so Tom layed down and Matt followed him.
Tom wrapped his arms around Matt and was breathing on his neck, it was like a dream come true for Matt. He started to smile, he finally felt happy after days of sadness. He then slowly drifted asleep in Toms arms, listening to his gentle breath. His sleep was peaceful and when he woke up Tom was still there, a small snore coming from him. Matt chuckled and layed there, he wanted it to last forever. Then he finally thought about doing something, he sat up slowly making sure not to wake Tom and slowly made his way over to Tom. He slightly pecked his cheek and layed back down and adjusted himself back into toms arms.
"Morning sunshine" he whispered into Matts ear and hugged him tightly
