"Remember, you to have to stick together no matter what, okay?"
"Yes papa."
"Yes sir."
"Promise?"
"Promise!"
The ginger was startled from her insensibility as the wheel went over a rock, jolting her and others up in the back of the carriage. With hands tied, she nearly fell off of the side. Her icy blue eyes darted around, her fuzzy vision clearing. She was greeted with familiar faces both opposite and next to her but an unfamiliar voice spoke.
"Hey, you. You're finally awake."
She shook her head slowly, trying to stretch her legs and holding her arms up. Her eyes slowly landed on a blonde donned in Stormcloak armour, making her tilt her head a little in confusion.
"You were caught up in that Imperial ambush too, eh? Same as us, and that thief over there. They must've thought you were with us."
The women's eyes squinted a little in more confusion.
"Wha..."
"Which is stupid. We'd never side with you rebels."
The ginger glanced to a much more familiar face and voice, one that belongs to Shami. The Redguard sat there with a sour expression. She looked at everyone else sat in the back, first the thief the blond mentioned and then the two Dunmers opposite her and Shami. She looked to them for answers, as she had many times before.
"What happened...?" She asked, only now feeling the aching in the back of her head. Soon she realised her attire and her eyes widened. "Where did my armour and other gear go?"
"They took it. S'wits took all of it."
The hoarse voice came from Nathul, a Dunmer whose eyes were fixed down. He wore the same as her, along with everyone else in binds except the Stormcloak. It took until then for it to dawn on the woman, shock painted on her face now.
"By the Eight-"
"Hey." The blonde snapped a little before the thief began talking.
The woman's copper locks hung over her face as she reached to rub the back of her head before pausing. They even took her hair tie? Really?!
"Theo, you alright?" Shami asked, leaning down to try and catch a glimpse of her friend's face.
"Has uh...anyone tried-"
"Yeah. They don't believe us."
The female Dunmer spoke up, her voice soft and gentle, despite the situation.
Theo took in the surroundings a little more. There was an Imperial on a horse in front and behind. Another was in charge of this carriage.
"But Fredrala, surely if we-"
"Shut up back there."
Theo gave the Soldier an offended expression, whether he had eyes on the back of his head or not. She lost for words for a moment before a contempt expression crept onto her face.
"No matter. Once we are put into whatever prison, we can fight for our innocence!" She was almost a little smug, already thinking of how dumb the guards would feel as the four waltzed on out of the building.
"I don't think they're taking us to jail, Theo..."
Theo rose a brow before looking ahead before she then spotted the gagged man behind Shami's quite big figure.
