"Where's my brother?" Ethan says as he slams the door closed

"Dunno" I shrug

"Lover boy left you alone did he?" I hear him scoff "ya know, he did mention the other night that he doesn't see a relationship blossoming between you both" he pauses stepping towards me "he's too good for you anyway"

"Piss off" I growl storming past him into the kitchen. I take the baked cake out of the oven and put it on the side nodding towards him "Happy Shitday, we made this for you"

"Grayson made this?" He chuckles picking up the golden goodness in his hand and narrowing his eyes towards it

"Well he had some hel-"

"You're turning him soft" he cuts me off by throwing it back down on the table "maybe some time alone would do his head good"

"Excuse me, what?" I semi- shout and he rolls his neck getting annoyed

"AS I SAID ALEXA!" His eyes turn dark, anger swirling through them "I WANT MY BROTHER BACK. SINCE MEETING YOU HE'S BECAME A DISGRACE"

"And how is that MY fault?" I argue, poking his chest hard as he stumbles back a little

"YOU CAME INTO OUR LIFES"

"No. I WAS WALKING THROUGH THE WOODS ONE DAY, GOING BACK TO MY GOD DAMN HOUSE. YOU TWO WERE THE ONES WHO DECIDED TO COME OUT OF NOWHERE AND CIRCLE ME LIKE ABSOLUTE CREEPS"

"YOU CAME BACK TO FIND US"

"AND I TRIED TO LEAVE HOW MANY TIMES?!"

"GO THEN. LEAVE NOW, NOTHING'S STOPPING YOU"

I stand there in shock, watching Ethan's every movement as he paces up and down the tiled floor. His hands in his trouser pockets, anger written all over his face.

"I've considered your offer" I say breaking the silence and his train of thought "And with the deepest pleasure, I decline"

"You're leav-"

"Am I?" I chuckle "because from the looks of things, I'm still here. And I'm not going to be leaving either"

"I'll make you" He states coldly causing me to break into a laugh

"Ooh please, I kicked your stupid butt before. I would love to do it again now"

He stalks towards me, but I remain frozen to the spot. Making it clear that I'm not going anywhere. He doesn't scare me. I'm just like him.

"Reasons"

"Hmmm" I tap my chin "well let's see. My life was going pretty well before you two decided to creep your little names into it. I went from human to vampire before I could blink. Um, what else. Oh that's right, now you're annoyed at me because I'm making Grayson 'soft'" I quote "and seeing how it bothers you that much, I've decided to stay longer. With you. And with Grayson. Spending as much time with him as possible. Whilst there's nothing you can do to change that"

I let out a breath and push past him.

"Alexa" he calls out as I reach the bottom of the staircase, I stop in my tracks but don't turn around to face him "Grayson sired you. He doesn't like you. And if you fall for him, well you're even stupider than you look"

I don't bother replying, instead I kick the staircase. A plank of wood, cracks and lands on the opposite side of the room, scratching Ethan's cheek as it flew past.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON DOWN HERE?" Another voice shouts from the balcony that looms above the living room.

"Ah brother, come to join us" Ethan chuckles throwing his hands in the air

"Alexa?"

My gaze stays fixed on the damage I just created.

"Gorge-"

"DONT EVEN FINISH THAT WORD!" I scream, fire burning in my eyes "DONT YOU DARE CALL ME GORGEOUS."

"Wha-"

"ETHAN TOLD ME WHAT YOU'VE DONE" I cut him off "THAT YOU GRAYSON, SIRED ME BECAUSE YOURE PATHETIC"

"It's not like th-"

"You're all pathetic. And I hope you live a long, dark, depressing life" I snarl, going into my room.

You want to treat me like a fool, Well guess what Grayson. Two can play that game.
