Luna Nightshade and the Bane of Olympus

Why did this Happen?

When I woke up again it was about 9:30 a.m. and Diana was laying on top of me.

"Diana get off me," I said as I try to get up off my bed. When she got off me I get dressed in my standard leather jacket, black skull tank top, ripped jeans, and combat boots. I put on my makeup and walk down to the living room and see Cate feeding Sapphire, Natasha reading a book, and Sam writing something on a piece of paper.

"Are we going to camp today or tomorrow?" I ask as I sit next to Cate.

"Later tonight and then tomorrow there will most likely have a meeting on Olympus to talk about the dream you had," Cate said as she feeds Sapphire.

"Okay, what are we going to do in the meantime," Sam asked as he kept on writing.

"Well we can go shopping for a while and then go out to eat after," Natasha said as she stood up from the couch.

"Yeah that's fine," I said as I stand up. Cate nods and goes to get Sapphire's diaper bag. Sam also nods and went to get changed.

When they came back down Natasha and I were waiting for the limo.

"Do we have to take the limo?" Cate asked.

"We can take the Lamborghini Aventador," Natasha said as she told the driver to get the car. 5 minutes later a silver Lamborghini pulled up. We quickly got in and the driver drove us to the Manhattan Mall. I bought a purple off the shoulder dress about the length of my knee in one of the clothing stores. In a shoe store, I got silver heels to go with the dress. Natasha went to a nail salon to get her nails done, Sam was at a Starbucks, and Cate and Sapphire were at a baby store.

After an hour of shopping, we all meet at the entrance of the mall, but when we got there we saw the Lamia. The woman turned monster had green slit eyes, a lion-like body but with scales instead of fur, and a human head.

"Well well well if it isn't 4 demigods and child legacy," she hissed.

"What are you doing here Lamia? We have nothing you want," I said as I stood in front of Cate.

"I'm here to give you a message and then as payment for the message I get the child," she said as she licked her lips.

"Then we don't want the message," Natasha said as she pulled out her dagger.

"Cate give Sapphire to Sam and he will get her away," I said in my mind.

"Why can't I run with her?" Cate said as she held Sapphire closer.

"Lamia is known to manipulate the mother into giving her the child. She can't get children from other people," I said. She nods and gives Sapphire to Sam. He takes the hint and runs the other direction. Lamia growls and went to lunge at him as he ran but Cate pulls out her bow and aims at her.

"Tell us the message or I kill you," she said as she glared at the monster.

Lamia looks at me and says, "Join the Lord or you will die and even your mother can't help you."

"You know my mother?" I ask as I pull Flower out and aim for her head.

"Your mother is always neutral with an expansion of the war with her brother," She said and we lowered our weapons a little and that is when lunged at Cate. I decapitated her but not before Cate was hit with her claws. Cate hit the ground and fell unconscious. I stop the blood flowing out of her body and wrapped it in white bandages.

"Let's find Sam," I said as Natasha picked Cate up style. We found Sam with Sapphire in an alleyway.

"We need to get to camp now!" I exclaimed as I lift Sapphire from Sams' arms.

"I will call the driver and when he gets here we can go," Natasha said as she pulled out her phone and called the driver.

When the driver got here we get in the back. When we got to camp and out of the car, we all run to the entrance.

"Chiron we need someone in the infirmary now!" I yell when we run past him. Natasha set Cate down on a bed and went to look for a healer.

"Luna who is this?" Chiron asked as he looked at Sapphire.

"This is my goddaughter Sapphire and the daughter of Cate," I said as I held Sapphire close.

"Isn't she a hunter?"

"She was raped," was all I said and he nodded, "can you schedule a meeting with the gods for tomorrow?"

"Yes I can do that," he said as he walked out of the room. Natasha walked back into the room with Rue trailing behind her.

"What happened to her?" she asked as she looked over the claw marks.

"The Lamia came to give us a message and when she gave it to us she attacked her," was all I said as Sapphire started to cry. I quickly calm her down just as Wanda, Pietro, Tony, Pepper, Wade, Calliope, Urania, Pansy, Harry, Clint, and Rayna came in.

"Moon Chiron said you were back and that you were in the infirmary!" Wanda yelled as she looked over me.

"I'm fine but Cate was attacked by the Lamia," I said as they all look at her.

"Who is this little one?" Pepper asked as she cooed over Sapphire.

"This is Sapphire my goddaughter and Cates daughter," I said and handed her to Pepper.

"But she is a hunter!" Wade exclaimed.

"She was raped by a man," was all I said, "by the way where is Clove?"

"She is showing some new camper around," Pietro said.

"What's her name?" I ask.

"Victoria," was all Pepper said as she continued to play with Sapphire.

"Well I should get this little one to bed and then I should head to bed because I have to be up for the meeting on Olympus tomorrow," I said as I grab Sapphire from Pepper.

"Bye Sapphire, bye Moon," they all said in unison. I have to say that is very creepy. I walk to my cabin with Pansy and I tell her what happened to Cate. When we got to the cabin door I gave Pansy Sapphire and opened the door. As soon as I opened the door I had animals on me.

"I know you all missed me but you have to get off me," I tell them and they get off. Susan was about 7 feet long and Apophis is about 8 feet long, Melinda was about the size of one of the tables in the dining pavilion, Thea was somehow even darker then before, and Asher was about the size of a full grown eagle. I shadow travel Python, Frost, and Diana to the cabin. Python went over by Susan and Apophis hissing about something. Frost and Diana went straight to their bed and went to sleep. Where will I put Sapphire I thought and suddenly a crib was by my bed.

"How did you do that?" Pansy asked in amazement.

"I don't know," I said as I stare at the crib in shock.

"It is one of your powers from me," the voice of my mother said.

"When will you tell me your name?" I ask and Pansy looked at me strangely.

"You have to find ou on your own. I have been forbidden from telling you myself and your father has also, but you are smart and you will find out," and with that, her voice was gone.

"How was that and how do you know that person?"

"That was my mother and she first talked to me last year," I said as I put Sapphire in the crib. She just nodded and walks over to her bed.

"Goodnight Moon," Pansy said before she fell asleep.

"Goodnight Pansy," I said as I landed in my bed.
