"Hello Hunter," said his dad Bruce "how was school?"

Bruce McNabb was a large bloke with large muscles and a hint of a Scottish accent. His thick, bushy moustache and shortly cut hair were the darkest shade of brown imaginable and the clothes that he wore were the stereotypical clothes that a man with large muscles and a bushy moustache would wear.

"It was alright dad, Frasier Hemmings still won't leave me alone," said Hunter. Hunter was a reasonably large boy with little to no body fat. 'All muscle' his dad used to say. He had kind of floppy hair and a pathetic excuse for facial hair. Hunter wasn't very good in school, not for lack of ability but for lack of effort, but he made up for it with his sporting ability. He was the best quarterback the school had ever seen.

"What have I told you a billion times before?" asked his dad with the slightest hint of aggression.

"To not let him get to me, that I'm smart enough to just ignore him and to always do my best no matter who's in the way," said Hinter in monotone, he had heard this lecture a billion times.

"That's right, no one should be bossing you around, that's my job!" Bruce said with a roar of laughter and a heavy nudge to Hunters shoulder.

The ride home was very quiet apart from his father humming Rick Astley every so often.

When they eventually got home Michelle ,Hunter's mum, was cooking some dinner ready for Hunter to microwave later on. Every evening the couple drive to their astronomy club and stay out under the stars till early the next morning. Hunter spends most of his evening doing odd jobs for his mum and walks the family dog. He hadn't ever taken to astronomy like his parents had, but his parents were fanatics.

"Umm...Wolfy?" asked his mother, "do you mind being in your own for a couple of more hours tonight? Our group needs to plan for the anniversary ."

Hunter thought this over. They usually left at 11:30 so they would probably go a lot earlier if they were telling him this.

"Ok," he said "how many years will it have been running for anyway?"

"399 years," his mother said proudly, "and on Friday its our celebration feast!"

Hunter understood that it was a big moment for his parents because they had kept the club going when his grandfather had suddenly disappeared one night, his

grandfather was the leader of the club until he disappeared. Hinter had never know his granddad but always knew how important he was.

"That's fine, what time are you leaving?" He asked.

"Oh..only at 7:15," said his mother shakily.

This was far later than he expected, but he agreed and ran off upstairs to finish his homework.

"Do you think he bought it?" said Michelle, now more relaxed.

"Of course he did!" said Bruce, "he doesn't expect a thing."
