Granger Family Reunion

Chapter 2

I wake up to knocking on my front door. I slip out of my bed I share with my husband Draco Malfoy. I walk downstairs in my sweat pants and shirt to open my door.

I get to my door and open it to find a man in a postal uniform." How may I help you sir?" I ask the trembling man.

"A-a-are y-y-you Hermione M-M-Malfoy?" He asks me in a shaky voice.

"Yes? I repeat: how may I help you?" I ask him.

"H-h-here," he says as he hands me a letter with shaking hands and bolts to his car.

"Wow," I say with wide eyes at him. I look at the letter for the first time and regret it. I go to my kitchen table to read the letter from my awful 'Aunt Madison'. Does she even know I'm not related to her.

The letter reads:

Dear Hermione,

I am now forced to invite you to the Granger/Swan reunion in a week. I regret even writing this letter to you. Now I hope you don't come but just in case you muster up the courage to come. It will be held at the Serpent Lion hotel owned by the Draco Malfoy. He will probably be there while we are so if you come bring decent clothes for the month long reunion. You should bring you husband and children if you have any. Which you most likely still live with your parents. Well anyways, hope you don't come because the last 30 years were amazing!

I mentally groan as my oldest child, Scorpius who is 19, comes downstairs from his room dressed to go out with his friends.

"Mum! I'm going out today!" He calls from the front of the house probably waking Maxen and Bella.

"Okay Scorp! You better be back by 3 pm!" I call back.

"Yes Mum!" He calls and I hear the door open and close. I soon hear my two girls come down the stairs arguing.

"MUM!!" Maxen screams.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Bella stole my makeup!" Maxen screams.

"Did not!" Bella yells to her sister.

"Did to!"

"Did not!"

"STOP!!" I scream and my girls look at me weirdly. I barely scream and when I did it is because I'm stressed.

"Mum, what's wrong?" Bella asks.

"Where is your father?" I ask them.

"He is outside in the garden!" They call together and rush back to their rooms.

I walk to garden and scream," DRACO!" And Draco rushes to me.

"Yes?"

"I'm invited to a Granger Family reunion!" I exclaim in rage.

"What!?" Draco cries." But you aren't a Granger never was!" 

"Jean and Josh probably didn't tell them!" 

"Great!"

"What why great?"

"Well no one knows I'm married and you cousins think you are a poor low life. Show them you are rich, beautiful, and are married but don't tell them you are married to me. We hold a ball and announce it then and your cousins are devastated!" Draco explains like to should be obvious to anyone.

"You got a point. Though we have a meeting for half of it." I explain.

"No I do you go to the reunion. Wait where is it and when and how long?"

"Well it is at the Serpent Lion hotel. It is in a week. It is a month long."

Draco took a sip of his water before I said it is a month long and spit it all out.

"WHAT!" He screams gain the attention of our daughters who rush outside.

"Yep. I'll take the kids." I reply calmly and turn to my daughters and say," Girls go to your rooms and pack for a month in a suitcase." They run back to the house and I kiss my husband on the cheek." Thanks for supporting me." I camly walk up to my room to pack for the awful reunion.

Tap tap tap. I look out my window and see my adopted family's owl. I open up the window and let it come in and I take off the letter it is carrying. I read it and it says:

Dear Hermione,

Hopefully you haven't gotten the letter telling you to come to the reunion. I want to make this clear. You should come. You can show off Draco and your friends and show them you are amazing. Also you should come because me and Josh couldn't tell them you are adopted. Also I will leave you no choice you must come or I will talk to your parents.

I thank Merline that I already decided to go. I head downstairs to get breakfast to fill me up for the first part of the day. I have seven day to get the kids ready to meet my cousins.
