Hello.

Taking a break from writing (yay! And yes I've blown off my assignment that's due tomorrow 🙃)
I've been inspired to create a list of my favorite albums of all time.

As a self proclaimed music enthusiast, I often find myself enthralled with all of my favorites. So in no particular order EXCEPT the number one spot, here's my list.

Maybe you'll find something you love as well 😉

Enjoy

1. Off The Wall • Michael Jackson - if you know me personally, this isn't a surprise. From start to finish, this album is hands down my favorite PERIOD. With only one (or two) skip worthy tracks, it's literally the greatest album I've heard in my life. If it was a man, I'd marry it.

2. Merry Christmas • Mariah Carey - it's August and I'm already listening. I love Christmas and Mariah so... 🤷🏻‍♀️

3. Urban Flora • Alina Baraz & Galimatias - this was on repeat x 1000 back in 2015/2016. Every song, her voice, amazing. Pretty Thoughts is my favorite. 🌸

4. Justified • Justin Timberlake - pure memories. I can remember when my mom surprised me with the cd! Straight slappers from start to finish, ain't nothing skip worthy about it.

5. Butterfly • Mariah Carey - iconic. The album when Mariah had truly arrived and kicked Tommy's ass to the curb!!! 🦋

6. Triumph • The Jacksons - when I tell you this is the BEST album they've ever done, each brother contributed and the talent was heavy. Amazing, no chops, TENS ACROSS THE BOARD.

7. Sign 'O' The Times • Prince - really, I don't even have the words to explain how classic it is. You ever just listened to something and sat back thinking, "how in the f..." me every time. Just untouchable. How the hell do you put so many hits on ONE album? How Prince? How? Forever in My Life, If I Was Your Girlfriend, Housequake, The Ballad of Dorothy Parker, Adore... I'm
overwhelmed. Bye Prince, just bye.

8. Selfless • Kiana Lede - y'all know how much I've bragged about it. I'm not too keen on recent artists but this girl here is just f*cking talented. She can write AND sing her ass off. Auto tune who? Watch her sing live and you'll be amazed. TENS.

9. Danity Kane • Danity Kane - my childhood. I grew up watching Making The Band and followed their career so closely. So you know when Diddy ended them, I was HURT. But these girls can sing! The only girl group I messed with heavy besides SWV.

10. Planet Earth • Prince - Mr. Goodnight, Future Baby Mama, and Somewhere Here On Earth. Need I say more?

11. Invincible • Michael Jackson - my second favorite MJ album after OTW. That is all. Listen to Butterflies acapella and Break Of Dawn. TENS.

12. Mario • Go - genuine talent. Real R&B. Songs? Hits. Voice? Smooth like a jar of refined shea butter. I love.

13. JoJo • JoJo - raw talent, she's another that can sing her face off. Bumped this all throughout 7th grade. Favorite track? Sunshine ☀️

14. It's About Time • SWV - classic ! That's all I can say.

15. Kaleidoscope Dream • Miguel - this album makes me want to be under the influence, fall in love and do things. Bye.

16. FutureSex/LoveSounds • Justin Timberlake - the title alone does it for me. Barely any skips, brings back memories. Set the Mood Prelude that effortlessly flows into Until The End Of Time? Bitch I LIVE!!!!!!

17. Purple Rain / PR Deluxe • Prince - any eye rolls? Yeah I know, the general public acts like it's the only album he did but you cannot ever deny how classic it is. I Would Die 4 U and The Beautiful Ones are the best tracks, period. TENS DAHHHLING.

18. Bad • Michael Jackson - are we surprised? No.

19. The 20/20 Experience • Justin Timberlake - both parts are amazing! Very few skips with so many damn good tracks. Pusher Love Girl? One of the greatest songs I've ever heard.

20. Thriller • Michael Jackson - The greatest selling album of all time. Folks claim it's his best work (eye roll) but I will agree, it's terrific, not to mention that the greatest song of all time is track 7.

That's Human Nature for you uncultured folks.

**

So I'm ending this here, I might add a few more later but that's all I can think of right now!

What are some of your favorite albums? Share them in the comments!
