ON this part you will learn the basics of Multiplayer.
What you need:
- internet access
Step 1: Log on and get to Minecraft
Step 2: Click "Multiplayer"
Step 3: You will see a menu, click "New Server", be aware this you will need to go google-ing, search "Minecraft Server List" and find a server you think would be fun to play on, now look, it will say IP: <ip of server>, put that IP address on the IP bar in the New Server Settings, that's really all to adding a server. Now, click that server and join it like it's Singleplayer.
Step 4: You should read the rules of a server before doing anything, given a wrong move and your banned. Anyway, this commonly is either a wall with the rules on them, or a book in your hand often titled "Rules" or "Welcome to <server>" you right-click this and it will pop up, if you're new it would be smart to read these.
Step 5: Go play! We will cover basic multiplayer games in another part, so make sure to read that!
Step 6: Congrats! You learned how to join a server!
