What is Optifine: A mod that nearly doubles your fps, but also makes Minecraft more enjoyable when it comes to performance, this is one of the few allowed mods on Multiplayer. Plus, click ctrl in-game and you zoom in on minecraft, which is useful and awesome.
Step 1: Go to Optifine website.
Step 2: Really there is no need for a tutorial on this itself, many people on youtube have posted "How to install optifine" and it's easy to just search it. You can simply search "How to install Optifine" and you will get the result.
Step 3: Follow directions carefully, then you should have to log in when you open minecraft, log in, you will have a new profile called "OptiFine" use this, congrats, you got double fps, and better performance overall.
