Today, you will learn how to play some basic games.
What you need:

Step 1: Go on the server.
Step 2: And play games!
This really has no real steps. BUT, here is my list of every basic minigame:
Spleef: The goal is to dig out the floor below enemy players, the last player in the platform wins. It's pretty fun, and is a classic.
PVP: Like to fight, this is for you, the very basic game, kill all others!
Team vs Team: Also pretty common on servers, two teams fight against eachother, if you suck at pvp and think having more friends would help, this is for you.
Mob Grinding: Very simple, either only you or a team of players fight against repeating waves of hostile mobs.
Survival: Like on singleplayer, but if you like the twist of having one more potential threats in survival, this is for you.
Parkour: Jumping block-to-block, performing epic stunts!
