A Song for Sleeping Beauty

Chapter 1: Where Do Dreams Begin?

Once upon a time, in the big Apple, there lived a teenage boy named Ethan Harris, for all his life, he had been known by his friends as the student with a voice of an angel, every day after school, he writes song after song and then sing it to his family, then his friends, he dreamed of becoming a musician all his life, because he played his precious guitar so much, of course he played the piano, ukulele and the drums, but the guitar was perfect. At nighttime as he got ready for bed, he wondered, "Where do dreams begin" and fell asleep. One night he dreams about a beautiful sleeping girl named Briar Rose. Before waking her up with a kiss, he started to fall in love with her, in fact he was over the moon for Rose.

The alarm went off, Ethan woke up and turned of the alarm. "Dang it" he thought, "I was having the best dream!" Ethan was disappointed that he woke up from the most romantic dream, but he still remembered how he was head over heels for Briar Rose. During his math class, Ethan kept on daydreaming about the sleeping girl in his dream, but was interrupted by his teacher, "Excuse me, Ethan" the teacher called him, "You seen to not be your normal self, what's troubling you?" Ethan answered dreamily, "There's this girl in my dreams, I'm so over the moon for her."

"What might her name be?"

"Briar, Briar Rose."

"What else?"

"I'm thinking about writing a song for her?"

"Maybe after school, you can, but for now, please, try to pay attention, OK?"

"Yes, Ms. Hwang!"

"Thank you, Ethan!"

6 hour later, Ethan came home, ready to write a special song for Briar Rose. He sat on his stool, grabbed and empty note sheet, and wrote the title of his song for the girl in his dreams.

Is this where dreams begin? Who knows, my even another dream about Briar Rose would tell him. So that is how our story begins.
