Moonlight scattered throughout the ghostly forest, making it looking like phantoms roaming around.
On the other hand, it looked like beams of hope shining on an unlit, merciless land whose darkness swallowed the guts of even the bravest of men. Silence always had its shadow cast upon the Forest of Alterspine, apart from the occasional howling noises.
                           ...................

A loud cry of pain, panic and confusion erupted from within and shattered the misty silence that haunted those grounds. It came from deep within, but it was loud enough to be to be heard by anyone within a two meter radius. Unfortunately, there was no one.
'Lia? Lia! Wake up, please! Wake up!'
Was all that rang through.
Amidst the silvery light, the beams reflected red crimson; blood....
It wouldn't seem possible, but there, I'm the middle of nowhere in a forest occupied by trees and beasts, occurred a murder.

Delilah Rosewood had been stabbed; her mouth had been stitched up, her eyeballs were out of their sockets and one was missing, her collarbone had been broken and iron nails were sticking out of her. Her nails had been pulled out and she was lying in a pool of her own blood.
Her older twin sister Fawn just stared at the horrifying sight as she realised that her sister was gone to a place where she couldn't reach her.
Her screams stopped and only silent tears dripped like eternal rain.
'Lia? Delilah? You there?' she kept whispering over and over again. She called out to her, but only an eyeless face stared back at her.
