Chapter 10

*India*

I was at home washing my clothes and cleaning the house since i had nothin better to do. There was a knock at the door. I went to answer it.
There was a white man with a dark blue suit.
"Are u Indiana Sanchez?" He asked.
"Yes, i am." I said.
"I am here to read you the will of Sa'Quan Pryce..." he said as i stepped aside.
"Please come in..." I said not sure why would i be in his will.
He came and sat down, opening his suitcase, and pulling out papers.
"It seems he has left u some things in your name, including all the money to his bank account....which is $550,990, that is now all yours. He also was for closing a building for u. I dont know what its for but it looked to be an really old restaurant that been closed down for years...and they were going to tear it down but he put a down payment on it in your name as well...so that building is also rightfully yours." He said giving me papers on the building and where it was located.
"Wow, okay but how...why would he give me all this?" I asked
"Well it says that your his sister in his Will. But i must apologize that it took me awhile to get in touch with you. But the money will be transferred to your account tomorrow. I just need u to sign this little document and i will be on my way." He said as i signed the papers.
"So did they ever find out who killed him?" I asked.
"No...not as of yet...there are a few witnesses saying it was a drive by of some dope dealers, but nobody got a clear view of the suspect...so there still searching....but i am truly sorry for your loss." He said
I nodded.
"Thanks you so much for stopping by." I said as he was leaving out.
"The pleasure is all mine." He said leaving.
I sighed.
I missed Quan alot. I had no idea he put me in his Will. Now i know i truly meant something to him. And it only made me feel really good inside.

*Heat*
I hit ignored on my phone again. I really aint feel like dealing wit Tonya after that stunt she pulled at india house. So i been avoiding her. I had drove to the front of India house...i hadnt spoke to her since that day...and i know she mad but shit im a nigga what she expect me to walk around wit blue balls all my life? I called her phone.
"Who dis?" She said as i smiled at tge sound of her voice.
"You home?" I asked as she sucked her teeth.
"What do u want Ha'Saun?" She said my government with attitude.
"Man, chill out wit all dat...i jus came to talk....i feel bad." I said as she smirked.
"U feel bad? Thats a first. I thought u was a cold hearted nigga? What happened to that? Or did u finally come to your senses that u are worthless and wont never be anything cause of yo ways?" She said.
"The fuck?-" i hung up getting out my car, jogging up to her door. I started banging on the door.
"Leave me alone, Heat!" She screamed through the other side of the door.
I chuckled as i took out the apartment key that i got from the land lord that night. I unlocked the door as she stood in shock.
"Where u get that key?" She asked.
"From your heart. Now what was that shit u was spitting to me a few min. Ago?!" I said as she chuckled and rolled her eyes.
"It was the truth! U and i both know...u aint know good for me. U aint even try to make a change since u got out of jail. U only tryna make yo path way back to that place for a longer sentence to your life. When u gon learn?" She said.
"I aint come here to hear u come at my lifestyle. U knew what the fuck this was before u got wit me!" I yelled.
"Oh! so i was supposed to know that u were gon cheat, sell drugs, and have niggas and the law lookin to get yo ass, behind my damn back?! If i would have known all that i wouldnt have gotten with u from the beginning. When i first met u...i wasnt introduced to Heat, i wasnt in love with Heat, i wasnt fallin Hard for Heat, I wasnt trying to spend the rest of my life wit Heat, I was truly in love and blessed with Ha'Saun. A man who was smooth, said the most sweetest things to me that my body melt inside, everytime i came around u my heart skipped a beat. When u held me all night long, telling me u wouldn't hurt, hide, nor lie to me. Thats who i thought i was with until yo true colors were shown. U changed for the worse. I dont who u are anymore. And no matter what i do or say, its not easy letting u go cause i still feel like that sweet Ha'Saun is still somewhere inside." She said as tears ran down her face.
I ran my hand down my face. I aint expect this shit from her.
"India, what can i do to show u that i do love u. And how sorry i am about the hurtful shit i did to you?" I asked.
She looked at me.
"The real Ha'Saun would stop his lifestyle and start a new life. He would quit the game and settle down, get a real job , try to build something, try to have a family, and let go of these side bitches as well." She said.
She was askin for alot.
"India, u askin for too much."
"Heat this isnt for my benefit. Its for yours. I cant help you, if you not gon.help yourself, cause thats the only way u gon help me. Now i told u my answer, so think on it...its really not a question for u to answer right away." She said.
Damn, i dont understand how she gon tell me to give up my lifestyle but the nigga she talkin to do the same shit i do. And he made it clear that he aint givin up his lifestyle. She had no idea who she was talkin to...but she soon will, but at this time I needed more time...
I walked to the door to leave.
"Im sorry, India." I said to her but more to myself as i left...
