So I broke down and finally saw the remake Aladdin.

Verdict: I LOVE IT, I hesitate to say it's better than the original, but the remake just had this charm to it that made me want to watch it again and again. Honestly if someone were to say one was better than the other I wouldn't argue with either decision.

The arguement of whether Will Smith was a better genie than Robin Williams means nothing to me, I think Will did a wonderful job at making the character his own and I will always love Robin's Genie.

Also they totally stole my 'genie falls for the princess's handmaid' side plot from THIS STORY! I started this story back in 2015 that movie wasn't announced until late 2017.

DISNEY WHERE MY MONEY AT??!!!

Let's get back to it..

Nino closed his eyes and braced himself as Hawkmoth launched the sword directly at his chest, but it never came. When he opened his eyes he saw the waves of Auburn hair directly in front of him. The genie felt his heart stopped as the girl dropped to the floor clutched her stomach.

"Alya!" Nino screamed realizing what the girl has done. Alya wasn't aware that Nino couldn't be killed, so in an effort to save him, she jumped in the way of Hawkmoth sword and took the blow instead.

Hawkmoth released the genie from his bind of magic and laughed as he watched him crawl over to the girl on the floor. "Now you see exactly where your disobedience will get you!"

Nino held Alya in his arms bringing her closer to his chest. "Please be alright, Alya please!"

Alya looked up at the brunette with a pained smile on her face. "Are you alright?" She asked.

"Don't worry about me I'm fine....just...just stay with me." Nino felt his eyes burn with tears and he held on tighter.

Marinette screamed Alya's name from behind the glass, as she saw her best friend fall to the ground she began to punch and kick the glass with much more force than before. Adrien growled as fury took over his whole being, he grabbed one of the nearest swords and charged towards Hawkmoth.

"YOU MONSTER!!!" He yelled in a blind rage and swung his sword to attack. Hawkmoth disappeared and Adrien was suddenly surrounded by a circle of flames. "Come out and fight Hawkmoth or are you just a coward hiding behind a staff and some fancy tricks!!"

Hawkmoth chuckled at the boy. "I'm just getting ready for the main event!"

Suddenly Hawkmoth appeared within the ring of fire. His staff glowed and his whole body was engulfed in a cocoon. Before Adrien could figure out what was going on the cocoon cracked opened and out came a giant moth creature that was as big as a house. Adrien gulped, but stood his ground drawing his sword at the creature.

The giant moth swooped in and Adrien lunged to his right dodging the creatures attacks. At the next attack Adrien jumped onto the creature and climbed on it's back. The moth flew across the air in a frenzy, at an attempt to shake the boy off, but Adrien held on tight. He climbed to the top reaching the creatures head and swung his sword, slicing off one of it's antenna.

A loud shriek was heard from the beast and Adrien had lost his balance and fell towards the ground. He groaned in pain as the impact was enough to fracture his shoulder and he lied on the ground in pain. The blonde felt himself be picked up and tossed over to the nearest wall by Hawkmoth.

"Give up boy! You are NO match against me." The creature snarled. "This...This is what true power looks like! No one can ever rise against me!"

Adrien didn't know what to do, he felt completely  helpless at this very moment. He looked over to Marinette who was now neck deep in the sand from the hourglass. Hawkmoth was right, he wasn't strong enough to fight this monster, he wasn't strong enough to save his princess, his friends, or anyone.
