Guy x Reader (The Croods) ...Random...

The Longest Day

"I don't know Grug. We've never walked that far before." Ugga commented.

"I don't think my feet can do that." Thunk whined.

"I'll never live long enough to get there." Gran said sadly. A large smile spread across Grug's face.

"Let's do it." He whispered getting another hit with Gran's stick.

"Oh come on! Just think our family packed on a long, slow trip across country! Days and night with just each other, we'll tell stories, and laugh, hahaha, we'll become closer as a family!" Grug explained as he squished all of us together. 

"Save yourself, Scarf!" I whispered to the little white sloth. She looked at me squinting as if saying "Are you crazy? I ain't leaving you and Guy in a cramped log!"

Guy's face was not even a millimeter away from mine. I tried my best to keep my cool, but I couldn't help it. I was furiously blushing the entire time. I closed my eyes for two minutes to be awakened by Thunk screaming. Sandy was clamped into his head.

"Get her off, get her off!" Thunk wailed.

"If your not ready to challenge her, don't look her in the eye!" Ugga reminded him as she pulled Sandy off his head. 

Her arm hit Gran's head causing her to exclaim "Keep your big giant arms on your side!"

Eep skipped over to us giving me a hateful look. "Isn't this exciting we're taking our first road trip?" she said to Guy in particular. 

I groaned. 

"Could be..." Guy said. Grug stopped causing Eep to launch into the log. 

"Oww!" Guy and I exclaimed as our heads collided. We were about to kiss which made me and Guy blush. 

"Are you ok Y/N?" He asked me as I rubbed my head.

"Yeah I'm fine. You?" I asked him as I touched his head.

"Yeah."

Grug adjusted us in the log the way he wanted and then Thunk cried "Dad I've got to go!"

"You can hold it." I said. He was clearly just as over this trip as I was.

Everyone was getting hungry so we stopped, since Gran tried to eat Belt and Scarf. Thunk began chasing around a giant bird but wound up catching a large black scorpion. Grug stood up our log so we could eat. I wasn't going to eat that bug even if the world was ending. Oh wait, it was ending.

Guy and I managed to move our log to a little farther away. Eep noticed our absence and walked towards us. "Where are you going?" she asked as she looked at Guy.

"To get some real food." Guy said as he smiled.

Eep picked up Guy and me by the ear and growled. "You had bug, plenty of bug!"

Guy and I looked at each other. We were both thinking the same thing.

"You can help us hunt." We both said.
