Eep replied with a simple no. We gave her a shell so she could call us in times of distress. I insisted on calling it a phone, but Guy said it sounded to futuristic.

We were traveling through thick jungles hoping to get to high grounds. There was a clearing a few years ahead. The sun was beginning to set and then we heard a sound in the distance. We looked ahead to see the familiar orange hair of Eep. She was blowing her shell as a flock of pink flesh eating birds flew above her.

We ran forward to see her frantically blowing her horn with some very under dressed cavemen behind her. I lunged forward to Eep while Guy went for a stick. The cavies ran towards Eep. Guy came running to us and lit a fire on the stick. He grabbed me and I grabbed Eep and Guy held the fire above us. The birds parted and flew around us.

As the last of the birds left, the cavies surrounded us. I clinged to Guy and we pulled out our knives.

"No! They are my family." Eep groaned.

"WHAT?!" I shrieked.

Time skip (I don't know how to explain the pop corn and wild fire)

We were in a very large mountain of Pop corn. The last thing I could remember was Ugga saying "We're the Croods!" and the rest of them saying "Hi Guy and Y/N!"

I opened my eyes and literally swam to the top. I couldn't find Guy, Scarf, or Belt! I shuffled through the pop corn frantically calling for them. Guy popped up and made his way towards me. He had Belt and Scarf with him. He hugged me tightly causing me to blush. All of the Croods popped out and yelled "Still alive!" Me and Guy decided this was the perfect time to make a run for it.

"Going somewhere?" Eep said causing us to jump. She picked us up and began examining us.

"The mountain! High ground, the End, remember?!" Guy said squirming.

"That already happened. It destroyed our cave!" Eep said.

"That was the beginning of the End! The end of the End is still yet to come!" I said frantically.

We all looked at Grug at the same time. "Eep, drop them." He said eyeing Guy. Eep slowly lowered us to the ground, not exactly letting us go.

"We can't let them go! We need to find a cave by sunset and what if the birds come back!" Eep said to him.

"We need their fire dummy." Gran said as she hit him with her stick.

"Your staying with us until we find a cave." He said as he shoved us both into the same log. We were barely a centimeter away from each other.

"No we have a reason to live!" Guy cried.

"A dream!" I echoed.

"Not anymore you don't!" Eep said happily.

"I've got an idea! Let's go to... That mountain!" Guy said as he squeezed his arm out to point at it.

"It's to far." Grug complained.

"Dad really has his heart set on a cave." Eep said following a groan.

"There are caves on that mountain!" I cried.

"And sticks!" Guy yelled trying to help me.

"Mom, mom, did you hear that? I can get my own stick!" Thunk said happily.

"Yes caves, and sticks. Crazy sticks let's go!" Guy and I said as we tried to worm our way out of the log.

Grug turned around and the ground in the distance split taking an elephant with it.

"Dun dun duuuunnnn!" Belt and Scarf sang. As they did so, the Croods lept and Thunk began commenting on how odd they look. Sandy tried to bite their heads off.

"Sandy, it's ok. Thats Belt, and thats Scarf." Eep said as I began to growl.

Grug turned to his family and said confidently "I have made a decision: We are going to that mountain." He said as he pointed to it.
