I couldn't stay put for long before I got bored.
I pondered over the option of going out there to watch them during their shoot, but I wouldn't really be doing anything since I'm not one of the photographers. I'm sure it'd be fun to watch but I'd rather sit here and think about how Calum and I somehow ended up at the same place.
It's not unusual, I mean, it did happen twice already before.
Is fate that relentless?
I could sense that Calum didn't want Luke to know how we met, but all I could do was sit here and wonder why. I know he had a great time last night, he told me himself.
I also know that there has to be a valid reason why he didn't want to tell him, and I think it's because Luke seemed so adamant about embarrassing him.
Which also means Calum might've already told him about me.
I don't really mind, I mean, I would've told Adelina everything, even if she hadn't already known half the story. Maybe Fran too, if I knew before that she knew Calum so well. The funniest part is that with that knowledge I could've also just gotten his phone number from her.
I mean, I know it wouldn't have been hard to find him on Instagram, but I've been debating following him on social media because I don't want to fuel the dating rumors. I know I told myself that I wouldn't pursue anything with him for the sake of the relationship between hate from his fans and my mental health, but it was also important that I talked to him about that article, considering we're both involved.
But after this morning's surprise, everything I was telling Del yesterday just seems so unimportant now. I shouldn't have to force myself to stay away from him, especially when we've ended up in the same place at the same time three different times.
So I want to get to know him—even if it's just as a friend.
"Hey, Vi, want to meet the boys?" Fran popped her head in the door.
"Uh, sure."
"I realized I never properly introduced you to them," Fran said, leading me over to the shoot. The guys all stood around with kind smiles on their faces as I looked at all of them. "This is 5 Seconds of Summer." I nodded, even though I already knew, and smiled at them politely.
"I'm Ashton." Ashton introduced himself with a warm smile and bright eyes, holding his arms open for a hug, which I gladly accepted.
"Nice to meet you, Ashton. I'm Viona."
"Viona, nice name." He complimented me, before pointing to his drink. "Thank you for the coffee."
"Don't mention it," I smiled at him before turning to a guy named Michael, who was wearing a capless cap and cute glasses, us having a similar interaction.
"This is Luke," Fran stated as I looked at him, smirking.
"Hi, Luke." I slyly winked at him as he went in for a hug, pulling away with a knowing smirk before turning to Calum. Before Fran could even introduce us, I interrupted her.
