Unexpected Love, "Injured"

When I turned around I saw Imaya with a few of her "girlfriends". I literally froze! Why'd she come to me? "So we meet again, Erika Poppins!" She said with a giggle. "Y-Yeah.. What do you want?" I said facing her. "Oh nothing~ I just came here to say hello!" She said with a smile on her face. "Who's that Erika?" Wellic questioned me. I was afraid Imaya would target Wellic so.. "Oh? New student, I am Imaya--" I cut her sentence. "You have a few students waiting for you're autograph at you're locker!" I said whispering it to her and push her away. I walked back to my seat. "Uhh.. That was weird? Why'd you push her outside?" Wellic again, questioned me. "I reminded her something and had to go!" I replied. "Erika.. Uhh.. Are you feeling good after you've met her AGAIN?" Aika whispered. "Yeah.. I'm feeling good.." I whispered back.

The two finished their lunch, class will start in 20 minutes. I decided to get to know Wellic more. "Soo.. Wellic, since you're a new student.. You should tell us more about yourself!" I said with a smile. "Oh-Uh, sure! In exchange.. Tell me more about you two aswell!" He answered. "That sounds like a great idea!" Aika also answered. We we're talking about our hobbies! Wellic's hobby was photography, Aika's hobby was drawing, and mine was painting! Few minutes later.. The bell rang! "Oh! It's time for us to go to class! Againn.." I said walking towards the exit. "Mhm! See you guys later!" Aika ran. "Hey! Wait up." Wellic catched up with me. "Let's go to class together!" Wellic smiled.

I blushed instantly. "Oh! U-Uh.. Okay!". The two started walking TOGETHER. A few walks later. "Hmm.. This is my class!" Wellic stopped and was about to open the door. "Bye Erika!" He said and walks in his class. I continued to walk a few halls when I saw Imaya. "Hello Erika~" she said with a smirk. "What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be at you're class?" I stopped. She walks up to me and I walked back. "W-What do y-you want?!" I screamed. "Shut up!" She slapped me. Imaya. Slapped. Me. "Excuse me?!" I raged! I slapped her back. She kicked me on my stomach. I fell down on my knees and start covering my stomach. "A-A-Aaghh..". She started to kick me on my eye. I couldn't do anything at all. I was there frozen. My eye was turning dark-purpleish. Black eye, huh?

"Ugh!" She stopped and walked away. Seriously? Walking away like that? Hey.. Atleast she stopped. I carefully stand up and walk to the infirmary. I opened the door when the nurse shouted, "What happend?!". "A branch punched me on the face and kicked me on the stomach". I gave a little laugh when I said that. I need to lie everytime Imaya physically "bullies" me. Even though I say Imaya did it, they would always respond with, "What? Imaya did this? No way! A "sweet" girl like her will never do that!". The last infirmary nurse said that to me. I was mad as hell.

"Don't lie, Ms. Poppins!" the nurse said while helping me sit down on a chair. "It is true.. J-Just h-help me cover m-my black eye". The nurse sighed, "F-Fine.. Whatever you say.." She started getting medical tools. She covered my eye with an eyepatch and applied some ice on it. "Don't remove this eyepatch, okay?" The nurse said. "That ice is freakin' cold.. Huh? Oh okay!" I said. She continued to do some treatment on ny stomach. "There! Now go to you're class! Be careful, okay? It's only you're first day and well, umm.. You're already injured(?)." The nurse said to me. "Okay! I will.." I said opening the door.

I walked down (again) a few halls and finally got to my class. I opened the door and when I looked at teacher, he looked shocked. Also the students. "Are you okay? And why are you late, Ms. Poppins?" The teacher said. "I had some problems and went to the infirmary." I said and sat down on my seat. "Hm.. Don't cause' more problems next time okay? So you won't get detention." The teacher said and continued his discussion. Damnnn.. Sassy much? I did what I did earlier. Listed a few notes incase of a unexpected quiz. After a few discussions, class was finally over! school is also! we are allowed to go home, yasss!

I go to my locker and put my books in there so that I won't have to have a heavy bag to carry tomorrow. I walked to the gates and wait for my sister. Few minutes past by and she came out, she was with Cricket! Our old friend. I shouted, "Hey Poppy and Cricket!" and ran to them. I hugged Cricket and, "It's been a long time Cricket! I see you are with the same class with my sister?". "Ohh, Yep! We're in the same class. Andd.. You're right, its been a long time." Cricket said. "Alright! We're gonna go home now Cricket, see you tomorrow!" Poppy said and waved goodbye. I also said goodbye.

Me and Poppy walked to our home since the school bus didn't arrive yet. "Soo.. Poppy, how's your class?" I asked my sister. "Oh, it was fine. There was a new teacher too! He's our English teacher, heh" she answered. "Oh wow, that's cool. Did you guys have any unexpected quizzes?" I asked her again. "Oh! Hmmm.. Nope, mostly introductions I guess." she answered. After a few walks, we finally arrive at our street. We ran to our house and went inside. We, of course, took off our shoes put them on the shoe rack and went inside to change clothes. Unfortunately, our mother wasn't in the house. She's probably going out for errands or drinking.. Ugh.. Anyways, me and Poppy walked to our room and changed. As soon as Poppy finished, she went outside to watch tv. I lay down on my bed and sighed. "Finally, its over.. School is over.". I stand up again and realized that.. "Wait, Poppy didn't notice my injuries?". I stretched my arms. "And.. My stomach doesn't hurt anymore?". She touches her eye which was hurt. "Ah.. The bandage is still there." I took it off. "I guess.. It healed pretty quickly." I threw the bandage and went to the living room. "Hey Poppy". I said and sat with her. "What ya watching?" I asked. "Ohh, I'm watching One Punch Man". She answered. "Ohh, cool!" I said. "Soooooo.. Earlier, did you notice something?.. About, y'know, me?" I awkwardly said. "Hm? Nope! You looked normal" she said. I thought to myself.. She didn't notice the bandage? Eh.. Atleast she wasn't in overprotective mode.

FUNFACT :
Poppy is really overprotective of her sister because, well.. She knew her sister gets bullied because of Imaya and today's school year.. She doesn't know yet if Imaya is still in the school. She wants to protect Erika in short.

But its really weird for her not to notice my injuries.. And.. It seems like Cricket didn't notice my injuries aswell.. Really weird.. Oh well, atleast they didn't worry about me..
