(Author's Note: Hey guys, I'm really sorry I didn't update my fic in a long time; I'm just too busy with school, I hope you can understand. Anyways, I don't remember where I left the fic, but let's just continue it from this part: Tom finished writing the damn letter and this chapter takes place the same day as the last chapter. Sorry for taking so long and again, thank you so so much for reading my fic and always eagerly waiting for new chapters!xo)
-Tom's Point Of View-
It's Wednesday and It's been a month and a half since we started school. Yeah It's almost November, and we're already counting down the days to start touring with my band. We've been practicing a lot these last few weeks, but lately Mark's getting all pissy about having rehearsals every day and how "practice makes fucking perfect". Bullshit. I love blink, but sometimes the guys stress me out a little. Or a lot.
Anywhore, I've spent these last weeks sleeping over at Mark's, tagging Scott along with me. Today after band practice we spent the night in Mark's bedroom (which was actually his basement) and I told them both everything about Lucifer. How she's so perfect in every way; the way she smiles, her hair when it gets all over her face, and even the bands she likes. I decided I liked this girl and that I fell headfirst for her in such short time. I even told the guys about the letter. Hopefully they didn't laugh at me; or not much as I expected.
"Ooh, Tommy's in love," Mark sang while shaping an imaginary heart in the air with his own fingers. "Tom and Lucifer sittin' in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g" Scott continued, laughing his head off. You could barely make out the words coming out of his mouth; kind of like those Jackie Chan movies where you can't understand their English very well.
Even though they were being total douches, I was too head over heels to get mad at them. I faked an angry expression and kicked Mark out of his own bed; leaving him and Scott on the floor. I jumped on his bed and dug my head into his pillow, really stressed out about the whole sappy letter thing.
"Are you seeing her tomorrow?," Mark said, recovering from the fall. "I'm actually sleeping over at Lucie's tomorrow," I said lifting my head up from the pillow, only to see my friends exchange a few glances after what I said. "and no I'm not getting laid" I said immediately, rolling my eyes and sinking my head back into the fluffy pillow.
"Hey you can give the letter to her tomorrow if you have the guts," Scott said trying to help.
"Bullshit, Scott. Hell fucking no. I'm just afraid I might scare her away and fucking lose her," I said.
"Well, look at the bright side. If you get your heart broken, then bam! new song!," Mark joined.
"Shut up Marky!" I yelled back, already tired and sleepy.
-The next morning-
I woke up early next to Mark in his king sized bed, and saw Scott sprawled all over the floor; his pillow on the other side of the room, as well as the sheets he used to keep himself warm on the floor last night. I don't even wanna know how the fuck he even sleeps.
It was early so I still had time to go home, shower quickly and eat breakfast. When I got up from the bed and untangled myself from the sheets, I woke up Mark by accident, and told him I had to make it to school. He sleepily just waved a hand at me. I left the Hoppus house and waved goodbye to his mom who was already up making breakfast for Mark's little sister.
When I finally got back home I still had enough time to get ready.
After I finished taking a shower, I practically bathed myself in extra deodorant, just for the occasion. Today's the day I go over to Lucie's house and I'm praying to not fuck anything up.
