the princess and the skeleton

The skeleton

We start in Misty, and cold, run down mansion. Faint but distinct screams fill this once mighty hall, there is skeletons, and half-decayed bodies each with a dagger lying next them.

Mary wakes up with fear in her eyes, she puzzles, thinking to herself "Where is he, where did the team go, why can't I move?"
She looks down to notice, her leg is chained to the wall.

A limping men walks for one of the rooms, but before he can do anything, he is immediately pulled up to the ceiling, where his head promptly falls to the floor.

Mary looks up to see a skeleton, covered in ice sickles, with blood around its mouth, he smiles at her before completely falling apart.

A man in a black leather jacket, walks over to the skull, picks it up and it turns to dust, he looks at Mary, and winks "You will die next" he drops a key, just out of her reach, "If you can't escape", he jumps into a hole on the floor, were flames erupt from it.

Mary trembles, she notices the key just out of her reach, a dagger sharp enough to cut someone's foot off, and the head of the man whos mission it was to protect her, she only has two choices, kill or be killed, and she would have to act fast.

Sadly, she can not bring herself to do in the right thing, the Skeleton appears from thin air "you should have acted fast, now you have to die" before he can swing his axe, she places her hand on his chest, she puts her head onto his chest, she starts to cry, he drops his axe and pushes her away, his hands shaking "what did you do to me, what's wrong with me", he falls to his knees his hands still shaking, "what...did...you...do..." But before he can finish this sentence his flames on his head die out, he turns back into himself, he falls to the ground passing out.

Mary notice is a key in his pocket, she grabs it unlocks the chain, picking up his head and laying it on her lap, she goes in to kiss him, when the lips touch they immediately teleported back to the castle.

Her brother appers sitting on the window seal, "you've done it you've helped to tame one of three most deadly evils...this adventure is way but done you still have to rebuild the team, and track down the other two evils, for it is your destiny" he promptly disappears.

Mary thinks to herself, "my destiny?!"

Notes- in the story we meet Zachary (the man in the black leather jacket), Mary and her brother (no human, who is not pure of heart could know his name), Johnson (the ice skeleton {he'll be a important character later on})
