(Narrator's POV)
Patton hurried his brother to walk faster. "C'mon, Vi! We're late! We're late! For a very important date!" The rather small boy shouted with a giggle. "You haven't even told me where we're going." Virgil pointed out as Patton slowed to a stop. "Here! It's the Cafe Thomas and I planned to make in middle school!" He smile brightly.
Virgil blushed at hearing Thomas' name. He remembered what happened the last time he saw him. Let's just say that Virgil had a rather.. unusual time.
~Flashback to high school~
Roman had convinced everyone, even Virgil to come to the party. Of course, knowing Roman there was alcohol. Logan and a drunk Remus got into an argument about politics and somehow Logan ended up drunk as well.
Virgil had to take care of his younger brother, of course. He made sure Patton didn't touch even a drip of alcohol. But since he saw a chance to take a shot with his crush, he left Patton with Roman and Logan. Which wasn't the best idea since Patton was clingy and the other two where wasted. Let's just say they started dating after that...
Virgil made his way towards Thomas, who stumbled into his arms, drunk but not completely. He looked up at Virgil with his beautiful brown eyes and chuckled "Hey, Virgil~!" He slurred slightly over his words, which Virgil found adorable. His arms wrapped around Thomas' waist to keep him steady. Virgil couldn't help but blush as he cupped Thomas' cheeks and kissed him softly. He ignored the slight taste of alcohol as Thomas kissed back. They stayed like that for a moment until Joan and Talyn called him over for Twister. He quickly pulled away and went to play the game.
Maybe Thomas didn't remember that night, but Virgil would never forget it.
~Flashback ends~
"Oh, uh, yeah I remember him." Virgil mumbled. Patton giggled a bit louder. "Does someone have a crush!?" He teased. "What? No!" Virgil defended. "C'mon! I'm your brother! You can tell me!" Patton smiled softly. "Well, maybe.. but not as big as Remy's crush on-" He stopped mid-sentence as he saw.. someone behind Patton. Patton tilted his head. Virgil bit his lip and awkwardly pointed behind Patton. The small boy turned around and gasped, fiddling with the fabric of his skirt.
"Remy has a crush on who..?" Asked the voice now in front of the two.
