"You can hurt me, if you like.""FUCK, I hate summer."
"Nobody asked you to dress in black from head to toe." Mingyu says from a distance, busy setting up the camera. The sun was right on top of their heads, blinding, almost mocking Jihoon and his choice of clothing.
"It still doesn't justify why you wanted to do a photoshoot by the fucking beach, Mingyu." Jihoon complains, massaging his temples as if he couldn't believe what he had dragged himself into. Jihoon was the best person one could label a homebody, and the sun isn't exactly his best friend. Summer should be spent at home, sleeping with the air conditioning turned up high, lazing around finishing netflix series. "Couldn't you have done the shoot in the studio? Out of all the fucking seasons, you chose summer to have an outdoor shoot."
Mingyu raises his gaze towards Jihoon solely to give him a look, "You dumb or something? We don't do outdoor shoots in spring because you have pollen allergies, and autumn and winter are too cold for you."
"And when exactly did I say all that?"
"You're my only workmate, I need to remember some details about you, at least." Mingyu rolls his eyes as he heads over to the spot where he chose to shoot, quite a distance from where their van was currently parked.
"Right," Jihoon grimaces at Mingyu's words, closing his eyes tightly. "Just a workmate."
"You know Jihoon, I think both you and I know well that Mingyu is an idiot, and you won't get him to like you until you spit it into his face." Mao whispers as she looks at herself in the small compact mirror. Fake eyelashes were such a bother to wear, such a pain to take off.
"Tell him? I'll die before I tell him." Jihoon replies, followed by a sarcastic laugh.
"I hope you won't," Mao keeps the compact mirror away in her bag and offers Jihoon a wicked grin. "I'd love to see that look on his face when he finds out."
As soon as Mao swings the door open, the heat of the summer immediately hits her. The sun was blinding, and Mao was thankful to be able to wear sunglasses for this shoot. She is still against Mingyu's idea of wanting to do an outdoor shoot, with a temperature like this, that would most probably be able to melt anything or even anyone.
The swimsuit Mao was wearing was not helping in any way. Mao walks over to where Mingyu was standing, still adjusting the lenses of the camera according to the brightness of their surroundings.
Mao looks over to where the taller male was peeking. "Are you still taking a long time? The weather's scorching."
"Almost done," Mingyu replies, not looking up from his camera.
