ISN'T WILLIAM SO CUTE?!?!

I hear hysterical crying. It alarms me and wakes me up. I sit up and see Matthew standing at the foot of our bed, crying.

"Oh honey. Come here." I open my arms and he struggles, but manages to climb up onto our bed. Carter wakes up, startled. "What's wrong?" He asks.

"I see someone in the bottom floor!" He cries.

He saw someone downstairs?

"You did?" I ask.

He nods, crying harder.

Carter gets up and disappears without a word.

When Carter comes back, he looks pissed.

"Honey, why were you downstairs?" I ask Matthew to keep Carter from ranting about something. From the look on his face, someone was clearly downstairs.

"I had a bad dream." He mumbles.

"When you have bad dreams, you know you can come into me and Daddy and wake us up, right?"

He sticks his thumb in his mouth and nods.

"Okay. Do you want to go back to bed now?"

"With me?" He asks. He wants us to come with him.

I nod and we walk down the hall to where his room for the night is. I tuck him back in and we stay in the room with him until he falls asleep.

"We need to talk." Carter almost hisses.

I nod and kiss Matthew's forehead and we go down the hall to our room.

"Did someone break in?"

"Yes. Jordan."

I blink three times. "How?"

"I think there's a break in the fence or something and they keep getting in from the back."

"Why the fuck did Jordan break in?"

"She was trying to dig up dirt on you."

"Did you call the police?"

"Yes. They had me tell them everything over the phone."

I shake my head angrily. "I can't believe this."

"We're getting a security system installed and only the people we trust will know the code." He says. "At the new house." He adds.

I nod and crawl back into bed.

I'm trying this routine with Justin that will make him sleep till about six in the morning from eleven at night and it's started to work.

I drift back to sleep.

Matthew's face is pressed to the window, his eyes wide, a giant grin on his face as he stares out of the glass in wonder. Carter pulls over and punches the code into the gate.

The family is following us in their cars. From the spot of the gate, you can't see the house because you have to go up a hill to get to it. It's right on the beach, only about one story higher. Carter gets back into the car and we head up the hill and around the corner, and Matthew lets out a giggle.

"This is our new home?" Matthew asks.

"Yes." I smile. Carter stops the car and we get out.

All of our family is gaping at the house. This house is bigger and better than any house any of us have owned, and we're all rich.
