Tobias.

He remembers, he remembers the first day he saw her.

A sunny day in highschool, he was hungover, he was annoyed and tired and she'd slammed into him.

Slammed into the most popular guy in her grade.

She was black. He was white.

He'd glared at her and instantly fell in love with her.

She was the new transfer student so he forgave her and walked away with his friends snorting out pure rubbish about gangbanging her.

Weeks later he was always around her. It was the way she smiled, her eyes. Her dark brown eyes that almost looked black, her teeth and how tightly she always held his hand. Her personality. Her looks.

Months after, they were dating, they were the cliche couple. The good girl falls for the bad boy type.

Good girl is hated by bad boy's unofficial ex. Good girl changes bad boy.

They were an inspiration to all the students classified as nerds and geeks in their school.

  They were perfect.

He remembers.

He remembers the last day he saw her.

He remembers the blood on his hands.

  He remembers.

He remembers watching her smile fade away as death won again.

    He remembers.

He remembers the kiss on his cheek as he begged her to fight for her life. She promised she would.

  She lied.

She was nothing but a Judas and he was betrayed by a kiss.
