Overdose

If there's a pill that could take my pain away,
I'd drink it with no water for the coming days.
Then it will all be sunny and no decays,
Then there's happiness that brings that smile to my face.

If there's a pill that could take my pain away,
Then I don't have to act like in a coma all day,
I don't have to wallow in the loneliness that stays.
And there's no more fears from the monsters I create.

All the tears from my eyes that trickled down my face
Never dries, never fades and couldn't be erased.
Maybe I don't belong in this world, I'm a living mistake,
Let me drink that pill to take all the pain away.

The doctor's say that I'm not sick and I'm fine,
Only acting to be depressed to get noticed all the time.
But, who are they to judge, they're not living this life of mine,
They don't know all the pain that I've been keeping inside.

No more operations, all I need is care and affection,
Fill me with the love and your utmost attention,
Tell me stories so I don't have to go more medications.
Follow what's written in the doctor's prescription.

All they heard was weeping as I cry in the corner of my room,
But that was before when I stay awoke from night until noon.
The only song I knew and kept on playing the blues,
But I found another one that could change the mood.

I've been writing stuff and it's all about the dark,
But I've searched deeper to find the light in my heart.
I got used to them as they kept pulling me apart,
But as time flies, they only make me stone hard.

Then I heard those unusual three knocks on the door,
That made me feel good and realize I'm not alone anymore.
I don't have to feel down and laid down on my bedroom floor,
I'm overdose by the love and the joy, I'm feeling better than before.
