The beginning of the story takes place in late 2012 and the rest of it takes place in 2019

At the beginning of the story you're 17 and Jin is 20 but um... let's not focus on that it's only a three year difference and this is fictional so🤷

"Y/n...I need to tell you something," Jin says pulling you to the side.

You look around at the others and they seem to have a worried expression.

You, Jin, and your friends lived in America most of your lives. You all lived in a shared apartment in New York, New York.

"What's up?" You ask as soon as you're in you and Jin's shared bedroom.

"We're moving to Korea...a small company wanted us to be their first groups. I have to break up with you for this Job...but if we fail I can come back to you," Jin says holding both of your hands.

"Leave," you exit the room pissed and heart broken.

"Y/n...are you okay?" Hoseok asks.

"I'm fine Hobi I hope you guys make it big and get to live your dream," you smile at him.

They left the next week, and Jin's back was in pain due to having to sleep on the couch.

*7 and a Half years later*

BTS had become of the most popular groups in K-pop. Today they had an interview on GMA this was their second time on the show. You sit down on the couch to watch your best friends who you hadn't talked to much since 2015.

"So you guys are back In New York. You guys said you lived here when you where younger right?" Michael Strahan asks.

"Yes. We lived in an apartment in New York, New York with one of our friends. we haven't talked much with her recently due to how busy our schedule is now," Namjoon, now known as RM, says with a sad expression.

"Wow that must be hard. Do you guys plan on visiting her?" Michael ask.

"Yes we do," Hoseok, now know as J-hope, says with a smile.

"What are you guys looking forward to when seeing her?" Michael ask implying something else jokingly.

"I want her food...she's a good cook," Yoongi, Now known as Suag, says making you laugh.

(A/n: how many of you are actually good at cooking?)

"I'm most excited to have sprite, she always has sprite at her house it is also her favorite soda," Hoseok says with a bright smile.

"I'm most excited for her to play with my hair, she loved to play with my hair. She did it when I was having trouble falling asleep," Taehyung, now V, says with a smile that showed only lips and no teeth.

"I'm excited for her to dance with us. She sparked my interest in dancing when we met. Which was back in 2004 we were both 9" Jimin says happily.

"What about you Jin you haven't said much," Michael turns all attention to Jin.

"Uh..." Jin looks at Namjoon.

"Our manager said it's okay to say," Namjoon says to reassure Jin.

"Me and her were dating before me and the guys decided we should become K-pop Idols...so I'm excited to see her face and be able to hug her again," Jin says blushing.
