Riverdale Book 1

Prologue

Before Northside and Southside got a long there was a lot of arguing and name calling. It took Julia and Jughead all Freshman year to convince both sides that the other is no harm, and when they finally did peace was finally in Riverdale. However, Riverdale isn't normal, as you'll figure out in the stories I will be telling.

There are two very important girls in this story: Julia Elizabeth Carter-Keller and Jamie Elizabeth Miller.

Julia is half Southside and half Northsider. Her father and mother were a love that they didn't really want to happen, but they wanted their parent's approval. Julia's father, Tom Keller, wanted to be with Sierra McCoy. The two loved each other for themselve, they were both incredibly smart. They dated in secret for some time. However, his father, Julia's grandfather, wasn't catching up with the times and he didn't like African-Americans. So the two could never truly be together. Julia's mom, Amy Carter, was half serpent because of her mother, but her father was a Northsider who hated Serpents, however he didn't know Amy's mother was a serpent for the time they were together. When Amy's father found out the two divorced and he won custody of the kids, Amy and Hal Cooper. Amy wanted to date James Amez, however he was a serpent as well. Her father didn't approve the two of them and eventual they split. Amy was devestated, but who her two best friends, F.P. Jones and Fred Andrews, helped her through it. Those three were inseperatable, despite the fact that F.P. was a serpent. Now Amy's and Tom's fathers knew each other. They were best pals. They would always tell their kids about the other's. They were always forced to hangout. Eventually the fell in love and to make their father's happy they dated. And then they married. Had two kids, twins, Julia and Kevin Keller. After 5 years of the twin's life, Tom and Amy seperated over one big thing, Serpents. Amy was convinced she could change them, but Tom was a cop against Serpents. If the town saw that his wife took her place as queen serpent he would never be Sheriff, so they split. When they split she changed her last name to Carter, her mother's last name, and had the kid's last names Carter-Keller. It didn't take long for the two to move on. A year after Amy married her love, James Amez and had a girl, Caramel around that time (they were most likely seeing each other during the time she was claiming her throne). and a year later Tom started dating a women in the military. She was overseas a lot and never lived with the Keller's so the kids barely knew her, but they knew James well, and his son, their stepbrother, SweetPea. Julia and Sweetpea bonded instantly, Julia was close with all the Serpents, however Kevin wasn't. Kevin blamed Sweetpea for a long time for taking their mother. Up until after Freshman year. His bestfriend was always Betty Cooper, his cousin, the daughter of Hal. Julia's bestfriends were the sons of her mother's best friend, Archie Andrews and Jughead Jones. The three of them were inseparable like their parents. Freshman year was rough. Jughead was sent to Southside High for a few weeks, then all of Southside High had to go to Riverdale High, well the Serpents did, the Ghoulies went to Greendale, the town over. Also during Freshman year Julia and Jughead wanted to change the Serpents like their parents once wanted. F.P. was king of serpents, lead by the side of his best friend. Jug and Julia were next in line and dating. They joined the serpents and together they started to change them for the better. Allowing Serpents and Northsiders live in peace together. Meanwhile Julia's dad, Tom was cheating on his girlfriend to be with Mayor McCoy. His long lost love. Eventually he broke up with his girlfriend and now the two of them are together and engaged. Soon Kevin and Julia will have another step sibling, Josie McCoy, who is also their age like Sweetpea. Now you know the back story of Riverdale and Julia.

Jamie Miller is from Connecticutt. Loves fishing and painting and sticking up for what she believes in. Her bother, Andrew Miller, had been working with Hiram Lodge for years. It caused their family much pain, her mother stayed up at night crying, her father went to bed drunk. The only way Jamie could keep calm was painting out her feelings. Every once and awhile she'll have "episodes" of just throwing paint. Everywhere. It was hard, when she was young her and Andrew were close. They were best friends. Andrew did everything for her. Then he went to New York for a week and next thing she knew he was gone working for an awful criminal. After a few years of working with Hiram Andrew went missing. Police showed up every month searching the house. They finally had enough. So they moved to Riverdale, for a new start. However, it won't be as easy...
