remus lupin sat in his dining room, a platter of steak and salad sitting in front of him. he was alone, scrolling through instagram waiting for his beloved husband.
where is he? remus thought to himself. he's never late. worried, he decided to wait for sirius on his front porch. walking out of the dining room, he made his way to the front door and opening. as soon as he did, though, there was a sight you wouldn't like to see.
there, was sirius laying on the ground with scratches on his arm and bruises on his face. remus' eyes widened as he quickly retrieved the raven haired man from the ground. he hastily put him in the sofa and scurried off to the loo to get the first aid kid.
he got out disinfectants and cotton rolls, soaking them in the liquid. he slowly cleaned out the wound, and while at it, sirius had decided to wake up.
"hello dear." is all he said in a whisper. "sirius! did you go to the forest!" remus had whisper-shouted, upset his husband was so stupid but was terribly worried for him
"yea, I did. I thought it was the wolf free zone. clearly, it wasn't." he laughed out, or if you can consider it a laugh. remus got the bandages out and started tightly wrapping it around sirius' bleeding wounds.
"don't do that ever again!"
"im sorry, i didn't mean to make you worried. how did you even know i got attacked my a wolf?"
remus sighed. "i didn't exactly live in the best neighbourhood, nor did I have protection against them. you learn a thing or two."
remus cut off the end of the bandage and looked into sirius' eyes. they were surprisingly calm, because he was just attacked by a literal wolf. remus' eyes looked quite the opposite.
they were filled with anger and worry, but they were still beautiful to sirius. "don't ever scare me like that again!" remus let out. sirius chuckled as he motioned remus closer to him.
remus hesitated for a moment as he was still a tad mad, but eventually gave in, spooning him on their small couch. slowly, but surely, they felt into a silent slumber.
