It was around 7:00 pm when I found myself still walking trying to find a way out of this nightmare. What were two dead bodies doing in my father's backyard? While I was walking some cars would pass by and flash their lights, telling me to move out of the road. After a while, I started seeing headlights coming towards me. The car was speeding towards me and the next thing I knew everything went black.

*Back at the cabin*

I woke up with a splitting headache. I looked around and realized I was back at the cabin. What happened? Did someone hit me? How did I get here? So many thoughts were racing through my mind. While I was thinking I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up and saw a man. He was wearing a leather jacket and ripped jeans with boots. "Nice to see you're finally awake." The man said. I sat there in silence not wanting to say anything. "Not much of a talker are we?" He said. "My name is Jason." He said. I was about to say something when Jason said, "I know who you are. You're Addison. Addison James." I looked at Jason with wide eyes. How did he know my name? What was he doing here? More importantly, where was my father? "Do you know me?" I asked. "Yes. I know everything about you." He said. "Where is my dad?" I asked. "He went out for a while, He'll be back soon." He said. I tried to get up, but when I tried I fell on the floor. "Wow! Be careful. Do you want to hurt yourself more?" He said crouching down to help me up. "What happened?" I asked. "I saw you in the street knocked out and brought you back here." He said. "You know my dad?" I asked. "Yes, we're... friends, I guess you could say." He said. "My throat is dry." I said. "Here." He said handing me a glass of water. "Drink up, you are really dehydrated." He said. I nodded my head. "I'm really sleepy." I said yawning. "Just go back to sleep, you need to rest." He said. I nodded and went back to sleep. When I woke up I heard someone talking. Was it my father? Was it Jason? I heard another voice speak. Two people? Maybe Jason and my father talking to each other? I couldn't hear what they were saying. They talked so low. "Hey, there's my angel. I was so worried." My father said walking towards me. "I'm fine dad." I said. He started looking to see if I had any injuries. "Dad stop." I said laughing. "I'm fine." I said. "I'm so glad that you are okay." He said hugging me. "Thanks to Jason." I said pointing toward him. "Well, that's good." He said. "Do you want anything to eat? You must be starving." He asked. "Yes please!" I said. Jason brought over a tray that had chicken with peas and water. "Here you go. Eat up." He said. "Thanks." I said. "No problem." He said. "I'll let you eat in peace." He said walking toward the kitchen.

"Brahm what are we going to do? She needs to know! You can't keep this from her forever. She'll find out at some point." I said. "She won't find out unless someone tells her. I'm not going to tell her. You better not tell her either or I will gut you. You got that?" Brahm said. I nodded. "It's going to kill her once she finds out." I said. "Like I said she won't. If she does we'll have some... complications." He said. "Why did you have to bring me into this mess? I never wanted to be apart of this." I said. "If you want your daughter to still be here remember you are assisting me so I expect you to get the job done." He said. "This was never part of the plan. You said she wasn't going to be involved. You promised me she wouldn't be harmed!" I said. "Hey, hey calm down. She's fine now, isn't she? I told you I had this under control. Chill man." He said. I closed my eyes and breathed in and out. "She'll be fine just as long as she doesn't get in my way." He said. I shook my head. "I should've never trusted you. She ended up this way because of you, because you were too careless and because you didn't stick to the plan." I said. "Whatever, man." He said walking out of the kitchen. I went to go check on Addison. "Hey, Addison. How are you holding up?" I asked. "Good, I guess. My head still hurts a little." She said. I nodded. "Good." I said chuckling. "How do you know my dad?" She asked. "It's a long story kiddo." I said.

Jason seems really nice and caring. I feel at home when I'm with him. Which I know is really weird to say because he's practically a stranger, but he just does. We talked for hours on end. My father seemed a little on edge. Jason and my father kept eyeing each other. I wanted to ask them what's wrong, but I just shrugged it off... I wish I wouldn't have because I would soon be in the middle of something that would've never crossed my mind in a million years.
