Through the forest as a gentle breeze passed the trees and animals a gentle sound of nature singing could be heard in the wind.
The small children flee through the trees in a single line from different direction . All humming in there own language a song. In awe Chise gazed at it all as all the children flew into the open field. Flouting around as they seemed to dance in circles around the budded flowers.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Lindel asked Chise with a warm smile. Nodding her head she turned to continue to watch them.
In a different place Shalltear stood at the edge of a large lake. Watching with a blank gaze as she watched the sun set. Rakugetsu watched from below a tree before turning his back away as she began talking steps into the lake. Slowly she walked deeper in till only the top half of her face was visible. With a breath she clothed her eyes before fully going under just as the last bits of the sun's light vanished.
It went still for a short moment before her body began glowing a blue white color and her form began changing under water. The moment she stepped back out water Rakugetsu rushed forward with a cloak to cover her form. Water droplets falling down the floor.
"Let's get you changed." Rakugetsu said before they walked away.
Standing by the large silver tree Chise's eyes widen as she suddenly heard the sound of a soft unearthly voice singing. Her voice accompanied by the children in the strange ancient language but more sounding for clearer than the children's whispers.
Gazing up at the tall branches of the silver tree where the voice seemed to come from Chise's eyes widen in awe at the person sitting in one of the branches. The clothes the person wore seemed out of silk in a white color with a blue sash. Their pale white hair that seemed to glow fluttered in the wind behind them. Their eyes a clear silver color as they pale milky skin seemed that of a dolls. The person was overwhelmingly beautiful. But what had caught Chise by suprise were the white ears it had, the ears resembling that of a deer's. The horns like a deer's antlers in a pale white color with thin silver chains entwined into the antlers with small ice droplets. A light red marking laid on middle of her forehead going down the bridge of her nose. While a crown of white flowers laid on top of her head.

(More or less what Shalltear looks like. I know usually male deers have the big antlers but let's pretend.)
Singing her voice grew more powerful echoing along the wind as an almost beat of the music was heard. Reaching her hand forward a gust of wind blew forward pushing her long stands of hair forward as silver leaves danced in the wind.
In awe Chise turned her eyes widening slightly as she saw the expression on Lindel's face. The look of longing as he stared at the girl singing. She jumped slightly as she felt Elias place a hand on her shoulder. Questioning she gazed up at him as he pointed at the flower field. Her eyes widening in awe as she saw the flowers begin to glow a faded blue white color.
Suddenly the wind picked up slightly as Shalltear stood up from her branch before jumping off gliding down through the wind as she was flying before landing down on the middle of field. As she sang she moved gracefully in a dance. Twirling quickly she the flowers flowed brightly before the markings on her arms and forehead began to glow. Falling on her knees she reached out her cupped hands up at the night sky before the flowers opened sending a glowing substance like diamond dust in the air. The small children around quickly flew through the dust growing slightly bigger with small barely visible wings.
Smiling Shalltear breathed heavily lifting her head as she watched all the children play around in the dust happily.
A small familiar blue orb flew orb whispering something to her causing her smile to brighten.
"Are you ready?" Shalltear asked as Chibi moved up and down in a nod. With a smile she stood up gathering some dust in her cupped hands before slowly spilling it over Chibi. His body growing as it glowed blue. Her eyes widening in delight as she watched chibi form into a small white fox that could fit on the palm of her had. A blue marking printed on his forehead as his dark blue eyes stared up at her. Reaching out her hand he let out a small noise in delight as he jumped into her hand white his two twin tails flickered.

"W-What? How?" Chise shuttered in awe.
"Its rare when something like this can happen. Children can change into familiars only in this forest only by the master giving some of they're energy to them. Shalltear isn't my orginal master so she was able to take in another familiar. The other children will remain as they are living and protecting the forest and the silver tree and ice flowers. " Rakugetsu explained crossing his arms.
"Look." Elias said to Chise who turned watching as the sun began to rise now realizing how fast the night had past. As the sun rose up into the sky Shalltear's body once again began to glow as her antlers shifted become clear blue crystal horns, her hair longer in a blue as her eyes turn bright gold. Red flowers blooming around her horns as the mark on her forehead vanished. Her ears growing longer and sharper.

"How?" Chise breathed out.
"Shalltear as keeper on the forest has two forms. Her night form, the dear who allows things to grow in the forest while her day form allows light and protection to the forest. This is her orginal form before she took the old keeper's place." Elias said with a small sigh.
"It was for her protection. In order to protect her, she took on the job and now can not leave this forest for very long." Lindel added with a small frown.
"Why?" Chise asked in confusion.
"Because of an accident Shalltear became a targeted being. The only being of it's kind. A ice Phoenix. "
