Ink's POV-
"Woah!" I gasped as I walked through the Academy.

The pastel modern walls streamed with aqua waterfalls and buzzing hallways. Black and white marble tile lay on the floor, with sky windows above me. There were about three floors, but the lack of height was made up for by twisting hallways, turrets and passages. Blue informed me that we were to be going to Periwinkle Hall for Start-of-Year Assembly. He said that his older brother had been to the school and knows all about it, so Blueberry has a memory of the school layout.

He guided me through about seven different hallways, one tunnel, three staircases and we ended up at the right place. Periwinkle Hall had long, large banners on each wall with different colours. In the centre of the room was a large fountain, and surrounding it was a raised platform, where currently the staff were standing on around.

The rest of the school was surrounded around the teachers, in awe of the hall too. In amongst the crowd I spot all different skeletons, and one in particular who seems to be looking me right in the eyes.

Rainbow blush burns on my cheeks like fire. I feel uncomfortably warm, and look away quickly. My breath increases pace. People staring at me was something I disliked. I had two options - continue to blush profusely in embarrassment, or, stare into their soul.

It was a no-brainer. I began staring at the skeleton's soul, my eyes deep into his. He was tall and skinny, with glitch affects flashing around him. He was wearing black with lines of red and round glasses that were in the bridge of his nose. The blush dusted along my face increases in opacity as I realise his bright yellow blush, that covered his node and cheeks. The staring into the soul plan wasn't working - it was intriguing me into him.

I snap away forcefully and turn back to Blueberry who had seemed to be talking all the way through the commotion. The words coming out of his mouth were silent to me, not crossing my cloudy mind. Everything around me starts to swirl, and I get really dizzy. Everything is spinning, and my brain is blurry. The grasp of focus drifts away and that's all I can remember.

Until I woke up.

A few seconds later.

I don't know what happened - I was overwhelmed or something. Blue didn't seem to be reacting, and neither was the cute skeleton on the other side of the fountain. I shake it off briskly and return my focus to the assembly, which had just started.

"Good morning students, new, and familiar." A female skeleton announced.

She looked young - maybe 25, and was wearing a short black dress with lace ends, a skunk tail and black shoes with pulled up white socks. "My name is Professor Mono, and I am the vice-principal of Aerial Academy." She had a confident tone despite her young age.

"It is unfortunate that our principal, Professor Gould, cannot make it to today's formal meeting."

"Or any meeting-," The skeleton down three to her left whispered loudly. He wore a beret and looked a bit spastic.

"Please Professor Hue." Mono grumbled. "Anyway, I welcome those new to the Academy. Those of you that have been selected have potential spotted in them. Here you will train to be your best you possibly can be. For now, I will pass on to Madame Lush for housekeeping rules and information about dorms."

"Greetings everyone," Lush said. She was a plump skeleton with thick bones and had not much of a neck, hut wore a dressing gown and slippers. "The dorm plan is that you will live with everyone in your team. Four to one dorm with bunkbeds. The dorms consist of no more than a bathroom and bedroom, a sitting area is in your tower common rooms and kitchens and dining areas will be used during meal times. Breakfast at 8am, followed by lessons, then Lunch at midday, Field Snack at 4pm and then Supper at 6pm. Your timetable will be further discussed with your towers."
