Chapter 7: Reflection Analysis

I would often find myself looking at Asagi more than usual today. It's been two days since Kiraa enrolled in her school. I can't imagine the kind of antics he been up to. I wasn't looking at her cause of school. Asagi told me she fainted not long after our phone call and Kiraa helped her. A rare type of boy to help people not uncommon, but still hard to find at school. Asagi has dug her face into her computer for hours on end. What is it that she's doing?
Peeking my head over her should the screen had numerator and denominator. An outline picture of LuXion was plastered in the side of the screen. It didn't look like the usual schematics. It was more brad still a narrow waist, broad out chest, legs look a little more thick. It's arms seems to have more gimmicks to it. Though it was just an outline seems Asagi is looking at the bigger picture. Or I could be wrong.
Funny Asagi is so caught up in her work she doesn't even notice me.
I can't believe she skipped school today just to work on her Vrave. I should go get her a coffee or something have her relax before everything gets to her head.

That day of the attack on Gekko, I recall Liliths voice sounding so broken. Confused on what to do next not only for herself but for Kiraa. The deployment of LuXion was to soon it hadn't gone through any field testing yet. There's only something- actually two things that loom over Lilith, faith and luck. Though I would assume LuXion's activation wasn't luck but rather that pendant Kiraa has. The origins of that little shard is still unknown I would like to do some research on that as well but the main problem in my way is Raven. Lilith would hand me her pendant not problem but it's Kiraa's half that has me curious. There could be more to it that want Raven is letting on.

The cafeteria seems a lot more quite today. Even if it's still early in the morning by now people would already be hard at work today. Some research and development organization we are. Ha...
"Morning Angie," a proper greeting from behind startled me. Raven Links still alive and kicking. Her black suit does define her amazing body figure I can guess that time of hers is long gone now that she had a son.
"Morning, Raven. You're here early." I sent the greetings back to her.
"Yeah, I tried talking to Kiraa about where he should be living. But like most men in my life he shut me out."
Whoa didn't see that coming?! "It's still a difficult time for him. I'm no parent that dealt with teens, but for now I think he just needs time. I could see why Lilith sent him to Asagi's school."
"You don't say? Lilith didnt tell me anything. Nor did I have a say in the matter."
Oh my god these two are like mother and daughter, "Raven you shouldn't be to worried about it. Asagi has been through...some rough events it's through those rough fires she came out on top doing what she WANTS to do rather than need. Lilith only wants the best for Kiraa and I'm sure you do too. However- not to change the topic, LuXion was to far along to deploy. Hell the chances of it moving were little to none. Yet Kiraa managed to operate it no problem? Why is that?"
Damn not a single reaction from her. Raven is still minding her own business poring a cup of coffee. It smells rather nice might add vanilla cream- besides the point! Raven let go of a heavy sigh.
"Angie can I truly trust you." Raven pleaded.
Whoa what the hell, was it that easy? I thought she was going to be more difficult to crack, "I don't see why you can't trust me?"
"True you were at Lilith side most of her life and you saved Kiraa that day. I am thankful for that. In turn I will answer your question to the best of my abilities." Raven said. Releasing another heavy sigh before she continued, "in most cases LuXion would not have operated to its fullest. But something Asagi, Lilith, and you manga to insert into LuXion generator was...was non other than Barbatos life forces. The pendent I gave Kiraa was also part of his father life. I'm sure you've been told that Lilith and Kiraa's father isn't human. When Kiraa managed to get into the cockpit of LuXion both items resonated with each other. That resonances was the final key for LuXion to be a hundred percent active."
"That doesn't explain why Kiraa was able to operate LuXion so...so- I can't seem to find the word to describe it." I said with hesitation.
"Cause just this once. Kiraa wasn't the one piloting it." Raven explicitly said her face didn't openly joke about it she was dead serious, "Lilith probably didn't tell you much about me. About how I came from a clan of warriors. Hate to throw folk tales around. But once every so often a warrior of legends of old would reincarnate themselves into a boy or a girl."
"And your saying that Kiraa is one of those warriors?"
Raven all but laughed, "It complicated, I'm saying that Kiraa as of this moment is sharing his body with another soul. And her name is-"
