I sat on the diner chair next the bar, swinging while drinking my icecream soda.
"You sure, you don't want anything, Mr. Marko." I smirked.
"I'm not really hungry or thirsty for stuff like that, at the moment." He smiled.
"Well then, what are you hungry or thirsty for?" I questioned, putting my icecream soda on top of the bar.
"Maybe just you." Marko leaned in closer, licking along his top teeth.
"Oh please," I playfully hit his shoulder. "Don't try it with me. I'm not an easy one."
"Hard to get and feisty, I love like that." He smirked.
"Oh do you?" I looked at me unfazed and confident.
I left him speechless as he stopped licking along his teeth and leaned out, rubbing his jawline, grinning.
"How about we go back to the boardwalk?" He smiled, putting his hand out.
"I rather not," I grabbed back my soda as I played with the straw, letting it move around the cherry. "I go back, I already know my brothers will be there, ready to freak."
"Well than walk with me?" Marko kept his hand out.
I looked at his hand undecided on my choice. I looked up at him and sucked on my cherry.
"Oh, what the hell, why not." I took his hand, which made him smiled, and sat down my cup.
We walked for awhile and talked about our life and boy, did he have some crazy stories. How he met Michael and how he was a total weirdo and how he has a crazy look home. He was funny and adorable. I couldn't help it, he made me blush. He was a sweet and a genuine guy. Quite a gentleman. When he talked, I couldn't help but stare. When I talked, he couldn't help but smile at me. We cracked a few laughs, and talked about our favorite things before it had hit 1:00am.
"Crap, I gotta get home." I checked my watch.
"Oh, I'll drive you, on my motorcycle." Marko suggested.
"Really?" I was flattered.
"Yeah, my bike just down there, come on." He grabbed my hand and walk me.
Before I could get on Marko's bike, after him, my brothers and their clown gangs came.
"We've been looking for you, for hours. Its 1:00am. Are you crazy?" Michael hopped off his motorcycle as soon he seen me.
"Me, crazy? You're the one that's always controlling, making rules for me and have been looking for me, for HOURS. But I'm crazy, huh. The more ya know." I threw my hands up in the air.
"Don't even think about talking back with me! I'm not gonna have it! You've been way out if line! Get on my motorcycle, I'm taking you home." He started walking back to his bike.
"No," I got on Marko's bike and wrapped my arms around his waist. "Marko can do that."
"No, no, no, no! On my bike, now! I'm not playing any games." Michael yelled, putting his foot down.
All I did was lay my head on Marko's back in response. His jacket was so warm and fuzzy. He was like a pillow, I could cuddle him all night. All Marko did was just look at Michael, ready for his next move.
"Gypsy, I swear to God-"
"What?" I questioned Michael, determined to test the waters.
He just looked at me with a "you better not do this or else" face.
"Drive." I said to Marko, while still looking at Michael dead in the eyes, and he did so. Pulling off, leaving everyone to only look.
I could care less though, and all I wanted to do, and did, was cuddle Marko like a teddy bear as he rode off. Letting the air go through us and feel free in the wind. I closed my eyes and smiled.
When Marko dropped me home, I thanked him and gave him a kiss on the cheek and hug in return.
"I would love to do this again." I smiled.
"Than I'll see you tomorrow night by the boardwalk at nine, cutie." Marko smiled.
"You can count on it." I hugged him once again before walking to the door and waving "goodbye" and he did the same after.
I ran upstairs to my room, leaning on my door after closing it, smiling, blushing, and completely satisfied with my night. Causing me to squeal and jump up and down, waking my mom, Lucy, up.
"Ah, what's going on, what's going on!" She ran into my bedroom with a broomstick and her sleeping mask on the side of her face.
"Ah," I screamed in fright. "Oh, sorry mom I'm just very happy about tonight. It was really fun." I chuckled.
"Oh. . . Oh," she dropped the broom and signed, still pretty sleepy. "Oh, well that's great. Try to be happy a bit more silent, okay?"
"Yeah, sorry mom." I giggled.
"Yeah, yeah. Goodnight, darling." She walked out, with her eyes half open.
"Goodnight." I giggled still.
When she was finally out and I was by alone once again. I silently, happily freaked out about my night before falling asleep.
