"Are you sure about this, Arataka?"

Said man beside you beamed with admirable determination,

"Of course! I promise I'll be able to hold my alcohol this time."

You chuckled as you both were steadily approaching the bar, the cold sting of the winter air hitting your cheeks. Drinks seemed like the perfect way to warm up after getting out of work and walking in this damned cold.

This was your second time this month going out with Reigen and it felt really nice (despite him passing out from two sips last time). Even more so that both times it was him that asked you out. The first time hit you like a brick wall because you didn't even know that he knew you existed. You had always admired him from afar, only speaking to him on very few occasions during lunch or just before work.

He was really great at his job, too. He was one of the best sellers in the office (despite the occasional nap) and not to mention he was quite handsome.

"Oh! Reigen's back!" The owner at the bar beamed at you two as you walked in.

A woman at the back frowned at you,

"With his friend..."

You sweat a little at the glare the lady was giving you, but you shook it off once you and Reigen sat at the bar counter. The owner served you both the drinks you had last time, but it was clear he did not put any actual alcohol in Reigen's drink this time. The owner smiled at you and you mouthed a silent thank you.

As soon as you took your first sip, you let out a long sigh, your body sinking into the bar stool you sat on.

Reigen laughed a little,

"Geez you must've been tired."

You smirked,

"I mean, not all of us take naps during work, Arataka."

Reigen grinned nervously and scratched his head,

"Hey, hey, a guy's gotta get his beauty sleep."

You chuckled and took another gulp. Just then you heard Reigen glass thud against the counter along with a hearty exhale,

"Another please!"

You held in your laugh as Reigen turned to you with the most smug face as if his big chug was supposed to impress you.

"You're crazy," you said, resting your elbow on the counter and your head on your hand.

Reigen grinned,

"I know."

You rolled your eyes,

If only he knew he wasn't really drinking.
