Sirenia could stand it no longer, she needed to see Herobrine. Her heart ached for him. So late one night, when she was sure Alex and Steve were asleep she snuck out and rode Steve's horse to Notch's palace, remembering the way to get there. She arrived at dawn and shouted to the guards who she was, they remembered her from six months ago and hence let her inside.

She wore a dress that hid her pregnancy well, not even Notch noticed. Sirenia entered Notch's throne room and got on her knee's. "Your highness I beg of you, please let me see Herobrine!" Notch sighed, nodding his head towards a guard who proceeded to lead her out of the throne room, to a narrow hallway where a large spruce door painted black stood ominously. The guard fumbled around with his keys before pulling out the right one and unlocking the door, gesturing her to follow him.

They began their descent into darkness, the staircase weaving and winding down, down, down. The darkness periodically lit by redstone torches. The screams of pain from the prisoners being held added to the atmosphere. 'Th-This is. . .Hell. . .' Sirenia thought to herself as the screams became more intense the deeper they went. The guard talked to Sirenia, in an effort to drown out the screams. "We keep the worst of the worst down here. Those who have committed great atrocities. Traitors to Minecraftia are also brought down here where we torture them until we get information. Lord High Notch is a most merciful ruler and a forgiving man." Sirenia rolled her eyes at that statement from the guard, but he did not notice. As they got closer to the bottom Sirenia heard a scream, a scream which sent shivers down her spine. It was Herobrine, she knew deep down it was him. She looked at the guard, panicking. "WH-WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HIM?!!" The guard looked at Sirenia emotionlessly. "Let me show you."

The guard led her down the hall made of bedrock, most cells were empty. They stopped at the very last cell on the right, the guard smirked and pointed towards Herobrine, hanging limply from chains attached to the ceiling of his cell. Sirenia covered her mouth in horror. There was blood all around him. His clothes were rags at this point, completely soaked in blood. Sirenia could not make out much more than that because of the dim light. The guard tried to lead her away but she refused. "I'm not leaving him like this!" The guard sighed. "Fine. I'll leave you two alone for a half hour. But that's it." Sirenia smiled. "Thank you so much sir. Could you please unlock the cell?" The guard sighed heavily, biting down on his lip. He was breaking so many damn rules just by letting her visit Herobrine unattended. 'What does it matter if I break several more? I'm going to retire in three months, fuck it!' The guard nodded his head and unlocked the cell. "Don't tell anyone I did this for you okay?" She nodded her head "I won't. You're a kind man." The guard smiled and left the two alone.

Once the guard was gone Sirenia pulled some torches out of her inventory and placed them around the cell, so there was more light to see by. When she looked at Herobrine again, able to see him far more clearly she nearly vomited. Every inch of him was covered in blood, his throat had multiple scars on it from being sliced open. His bones were broken and mangled, he looked like a rag doll. Sirenia was furious with Notch, Alex, and Steve for not letting her see Herobrine sooner.

She placed a hand on Herobrine's cheek. "H-Herobrine?" Her voice was but a whisper. Herobrine groaned in pain and opened his eyes, unable to focus his vision, the light hurt his eyes. He was so used to the darkness of the cell that it took him several moments to adjust to the change in lighting. When his eyes had adjusted though he saw Sirenia kneeling in front of him. Tears were going down her face. "S-Sirenia. . ."
