^Fasean^
Trey POV.
She never breaks her hold on me exactly how she did when I lost my brother. I regret not listening to my mom when she told me to walk straight to the school. I regret that everyday. Jayla's always been there for me in so many ways other people haven't. Not even my moms, my dad is not even in the picture hasn't been for as long as I can remember. He's basically dead to us.
"Ahh shit. Lil nigga got his lil heart broke?" A annoying familiar voice floods my ears as I hear foot steps walking towards us.
Both Jayla and I look up to see Fasean wiping his fake tears. I can't help but chuckle. "Shut up man."
I unwrap my arms from Jayla as Fasean walks up to me with his arms open as if he wants a hug. I push his arms. "Fuck out of here with that gay shit."
We all bust out laughing. "There's that smile." Jayla says and it warms me inside.
"Okay enough of that gay shit." Fasean says as he drags out the 'that'.
Jayla rolls her eyes followed by a laugh when I hear her stomach grumble.
"Aye you hungry?" I ask her knowing damn well she hungry as shit.
She answers by shaking her head. I throw my arm around her and lead her out the party to my car.
As we leave I see a guy sitting at the bar looking at me the to Jayla then smiles at her and she smile back.
"I need to know the rest of the story." He jokes.
She chuckles under my arm. "Theirs not enough time in the world."
I hiss under my breath unknowingly hoping she wouldn't hear it. A few minutes go by and I feel I free to the safe zone as we reach my car. I sound my car to unlock it when I notice Jayla not making a move to get in. "You good?"
She quickly snaps back. "You good?"
Damn. She noticed.
I slowly get in the car ignoring her question. She follows me in not taking her eye off me. Waiting for my answer.
I roll my eyes and answer with a simple.. "Yeah."
Her eyes remain on me not satisfied with my reply. She asks again. "You good?"
"I said I'm fine." I snap and turn on the ignition.
She chuckles. "Your really bothered by him aren't you?"
I laugh at her question. "Nah."
"Yeah.. Ookay." She mocks my response as she turns to put her seatbelt on.
I pull of not wanting to push it any farther. I decide to go to a Chinese Restaurant as I follow the gps in my mind.

As we pull into the Asian themed restaurant my eyes light up at the memories that flood my mind. Trey and I basically grew up here. We've spent many holidays here with his mother since mine was on the streets looking for drugs. Disappointment covers my face as I realize this is the first time I've been here since I moved back.
"What's that face for? I thought you'd be happy to be here." Trey frowns and puts his hand on my lap.
I shake the disappointment off my face. "No no.. I am.. R-really. It's just.."
