Jayla POV.
"So.. where are you taking me ?" I ask not really caring.
"Home of course." He reply's keeping his eyes on the road.
"I don't actually wanna go home." I say staring out the window.
He chuckles. "Where do you wanna go? It's 2 a.m. in the morning."
I suck my teeth. "Fine. I guess I can go home."
"I'm just saying.. even though tomorrow is Sunday. School starts on Monday." He says shaking his head.
"Ohh shit. I forgot about that with all that's been going on." I say looking at him now.
"Wait.. can you take me to Justin's? I wanna make sure he's okay. After Chey had to take him home." I say looking back to the window.
"Fasho. You want me to wait and take you home after?" He says looking at me. I can see his reflection through the dark window.
"Yeah. Thank you." I turn to look at him.
His face falls when my eyes meets his. "Why you crying ?"
He brings the pad of him thumb to my cheek catching the salty tear before it falls down my face. I nervelessly chuckle trying to cover up the fact that just happened.
"Stop laughing Jay. What happened? Was it something I did ?" He asks when I can't control my tears as they free fall down my cheeks unable to be caught. Trey pulls over and opens his arms for me to climb into.
I say nothing as a burry myself into him. He tangles his fingers into my hair massaging it in all the right places calming me down.
"I don't even know who that was tonight." Is the only thing I manage to say.
He continues to tangle his fingers in my hair. "You mean Justin?"
I nod my head answering his question. Without pushing it farther he tightens his hold on me making me feel a lot better.
After a few minutes in his tight hold I wipe my tears and slowly sit up. I hear Trey growl as if he didn't want me to untangle from under him.
"Thank you."
"For what?" He asks sitting up from leaning in his seat.
"For being everything I need you to be." I say with another tear falling down my cheek. Not a sad tear but a happy one.
"I only do as much as you do for me." He wipes yet again another tear I didn't mean to come out.
His hand remains on my face. "I'm able to be your everything?"
"You are my everything." He strokes his figures through my hair before a hard bang on his window causing me to jump.
A large flash light is shined in our faces and I can only make out a police badge. "Is everything alright? You are pulled over."
Before Trey can say anything stupid I answer the cop for him. "Yes. Sir. We're okay."
He keeps his attention on Trey. I'm not even sure if he was listening to me.
