lance quickly gives the file to Katie. Too quickly at that.

Katie soon shares the file with Tyler, both precious features scrunching quizzically.

A tsunami of emotions crashed onto the group.

One felt dejected. Thinking about how it all went wrong. They had the life,

so they thought.

Why would the world want to hurt them? Why did they deserve this? What could they had possibly done in their other life to feel so...broken.

One felt muddled. How is this possible? Why would we need to do this? There's no need for this mess. They were more logical about this.

To them, there was no point. It was like watching a movie for the first time, you get excited with high hopes since the trailer was so good and everybody just talks about how good it was using words like

gripping, inspiring, electrifying, sensational.

You feel so proud of yourself that you finally can afford the movie and enjoy it as others did. However, once you start, your hopes soon fades into despair. Why isn't the movie good? Why did I waste my time and money on this? Why did I care so much about people's opinion of it? It was confusing how such great expectations of life could turn into something so...

disappointing.

One felt used. They felt like trash. Just like toothpaste. You enjoy it for a while because you have to; for the sake of others and for yourself. You take your pretty little time scrubbing it onto you, only to wash away YOUR dirt, YOUR sins, YOUR breath of agony. Only to be thrown away 2 minutes later, forgotten. Then suddenly used and remember again. Why? Because they need you suddenly. To make a good impression for someone else. Never for you.

And one felt numb. It was like waking up on one morning, rainy or sunny, it doesn't matter. And all you want to do is just stay in bed. You're just tired. Not lazy. You decide to get up and take a long-awaited shower. The temperature is so cold. It doesn't matter though. All you need is water on your skin. You don't feel the piercing cold hitting you like hale. You're just there.

"well, let's get going. we wouldn't want him to get mad," Tyler announced suddenly. Slowly standing himself up, walking towards the basements door.
