Chapter Six

I made my way to Algebra II going through the intricate hallway.I immediately saw Algerbra II, seeing as it said Algebra II on the door. Ignoring the obviousness of the situation, I walked in. Contrary to the common misconception of Algebra teachers being balding old men with bushy eyebrows, there stood a petite blonde teacher with blonde hair at the front. I walked up to her as she said " You must be the new student..." She began questioningly

"Ashlynn, my name is Ashlynn" I said with as much confidence as I could muster

"Well Ashlynn..." She started then looked towards the back of the room "... you can go sit next to Abby and you'll need these" she said pointing to the back of the room while passing me both an Algebra workbook and textbook. I looked as to where she was pointing and saw a curvy brunette wave. I went to sit beside her and saw that we were to turn to page 57. Oh, quadratics- I've done this. " Hiya, I'm Abby as Miss Grey said." Abby whispered

" Well you already know my name, Ashlynn"

"It's really cool to meet you Ashlynn, so tell me about yourself." She grinned

We spent the rest of the lesson just talking to each other and laughing. She had a really calm and inviting demeanour that made you think you'd known her for years rather than an hour. The bell rang and dismissed us. As I got out of my seat she asked brightly " Are you busy after school?"

"No, why" I questioned, now curious

" I just wondered if you wanted to go out for pizza with me and my boyfriend."

"Sure, I'd love to"

"Coolio, well lemme see what you have last period." She said, grabbing my schedule

It said History. " Good we have the same class so we can leave school together."

We exited the the classroom and parted ways to our classes " See you later bestie." She yelled from across the hall

Finally, I had a friend
