Fears: His father, and losing his clan, failure. Has dementophobia (fear of going insane) and is scared of spiders.

Looks: Hoshino has effeminate features, and short dark blue hair with long bangs. He also sports a light tawny skin tone and pupiless sky blue eyes that usually are glowing. He has two faint lightning bolt marks beneath each of his eyes that glow white when his Kekkei Genkai is activated.

Personality: Hoshino is a kind, patient, and levelheaded person. He very rarely gets angry or upset because he could care less about what others think of him. He's been taught to hide what he truly feels, so he struggles with maintaining a calm facade. Fan girls annoy him, though. But he doesn't show it. He is also very mature for his age, due to being raised in the Main Branch of his clan. He will not hesitate to go into combat if he sees that it's necessary. He views fighting as a last resort.

Kekkei Genkai: Lightning Imitation— Once a Mizu clan member reaches the genin level they are finally able to use the Lightning Imitation technique by vibrating chakra throughout their bodies causing their brain to receive signals faster. While using this technique, they become more aware of their surroundings, increase their movement speed, and increase their strength. Lightning Imitation is used in many forms and many ways, however, it stays consistent in two areas. The first effect of the Lightning Imitation is that after watching a jutsu performed depending on your specialty of Lightning Imitation control, you are able to copy the jutsu with lightning chakra. This can be performed through excessive training or watching the jutsu several times. The second effect of Lightning Imitation is that all forms of lightning cannot affect the user. Lightning jutsu no matter what the form; purple, black, or natural lightning all go into the Mizu's arm and add electricity to the Mizu for their special form of Kekkei Genkai training. Also, while using Lightning imitation, you can change the frequency and vibrations of the lightning back down to chakra, But if you are overloaded you are unable to convert all of your lightning down.

History: Hoshino's life was spent training and learning to become the best ninja he could be. His mother taught him to be a kind and gentle person while his teachers taught him to defend and attack. Hoshino does not know who his father is; his mother refuses to speak of him. Nevertheless, Hoshino is treated with respect and kindness because of his own personality and his mother's status and accomplishments.
