It took a few weeks to get verified, but that's acceptable. The site is only for 18 and younger so they need check your passport for your age, to make sure there aren't any perverts on the site. But now that I was able to log on, I finally saw that I really wasn't alone.
The next day I started looking at the site more thoroughly. Under "Profiles" I could see lots of people who were either gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. I did an advanced search for people who are from Doncaster, but saw that there weren't many people on here from Doncaster, at least not anybody I would want to get to know more.
Then I saw that there was a "Videochat" section, and quickly clicked on it. You had to choose a nickname for yourself, I just chose Lou because my friends call me that sometimes.
There were only 2 people online, 2 people with a cam at least. One of them was a girl, but the guy was really cute. What was weird to me though is that they were only typing, not actually talking to eachother. I just went along with it and started typing.
Lou: "Heyyy"
And then I turned my webcam on
Harry1995: "Hi"
