Another school day for Rin. Nothing ever happened. Girls talking about their soulmates or how they wish to encounter them, boys looking at random people to see if they can finally see the color they can't, and teachers facepalming themselves because of the impatience teen.
But Rin, Rin knew her soulmate was nowhere near her. She would have already encounter them probably. And it wasn't like she was eager to meet them.
"Come on Rin! I'm hungry!" EunDae called her best friend.
"Yeah yeah, I'm coming" Rin said walking lazily towards her.
They made it to the cafeteria and sat down on the place they were always at.
"You know, I'm eager for you finding your soulmate" said EunDae.
"Hmm... I don't know, I don't really care, I think I'm just curious about blue" she said taking another bite from her butter sandwich.
"Whatever flotes your boat" she said laughing a bit.
The school bell rang and it was time to go back to clases.
Rin sat down and the back of class. Next to her, was Park Jisung, an awkward boy who apparently couldn't see orange.
They had a two period long class of literature, class which she enjoyed but Jisung didn't.
"I swear I only haven't ran out of class because you're my friend" Jisung muttered before the teacher started.
They were currently reading a short story with different twists and moments that you could possibly confuse with the climax.
"I need you to mark in blue the foreshadowing you found, and in orange the moment the climax starts"
Both seat mates looked at each other in a 'are you serious way'.
"Uh, can you tell me which one is the blue?" She asked.
"Yeah, it's this one" Jisung handed her a blue pen that in her eyesight, looked plainly gray.
"Thanks, this is the orange one my the way" she thanked him and passed him the orange pen that in his eyesight also looked plainly gray.
"Oh, thanks" he said.
The second bell rang and it was time for her last class, in which she fell asleep almost immediately.
She only woke up when someone tap her shoulder lightly.
"Uh... class is finished" murmured a boy whom she recognized as Na Jaemin.
"Oh? Oh thanks" she smilied at him gratefully.
"No problem, there's no homework today" he added.
"Oh grate, thanks again" she said standing up.
He only smiled again before going out of the classroom to his friends, Jeno and Renjun.
She sighted and also went out of the classroom with her backpack.
She catches up with EunDae before the gate, since they were going to walk to Rin's house to pass the evening there.
"Ugh, the sky is grey again" she said looking at the cloud probably full of water.
"Well, clouds or not, it's always grey" Rin said looking at it.
"Oh right" EunDae said looking at her.
They walked and finally reached Rin's house. It was t very far away, so they made it in only a few minutes.
"Mom! We're home!" She called but instead someone else answered.
"Heya Rin!" A man said.
"Jungkook! Not to be rude but what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Oh just visiting your brother" he replied.
"Oh, okay" she said nodding and going into the kitchen with EunDae behind her.
"So, I guess my mom isn't here, so, what would you like to eat?" She asked.
"Oh, I suppose instant ramen is the easiest" She responded.
Rin nodded and and she put the waiter to boil.
Some minute later they added the ramen and when it was finally ready they both plopped in the kitchen counter and ate it.
"So, I was thinking on going to the mall soon, wanna come with me?" EunDae asked.
"Sure! I might buy something myself" Rin said while slurping her ramen.
"Grate, tomorrow morning" EunDae suggested
"There's school...?" Rin said doubtfully
"Dude today is Friday" EunDae said as if it was obvious although it was.
"Oh, then is settled, tomorrow at 12?" Rin asked.
"Yup, tomorrow at 12" EunDae nodded.
Both girls passed the evening watching Netflix and talking.
Soon, it was time for EunDae to leave. Both girls bid their goodbyes and EunDae left.
