As Rin promised her best friend, she would be going with her to the hospital the next day, which was Saturday.
She arrived after a while of riding in the subway. She went up to the surface and walked for a solid five minutes until she found the hospital were her friend was already waiting for her. She went up to the indicated floor and went to the reception. She told the nurse the name and they let her pass easily, since that already knew her and EunDae for coming here so often.
She greeted her friend outside the room, since doctors were in making a quick check. Both friends greeted each other.
"How is he?" Rin asked EunDae.
"Oh, no signs of waking up, but doctors say there's still hope" she said.
The doctors went out and both girls went in. There he was, laying peacefully in his bed, with his eyes closed, completely connected. EunDae smiled painfully at the boy.
"he's going to wake up, he's strong" Rin said taking her friends hand.
Rin decided not to tell about Chenle here, she would tell her some other moment. But still, the girls talked about how was school going and some other interesting things, since they knew he was somehow hearing them.
"And then the teacher sent us both out for bickering about the pen" Rin explained what had happened earlier in that week when she and Jisung were fighting over a broken pen.
"Oh, Rin, my mom texted me, can you stay with him for a bit?" asked EunDae.
"of course" Rin said smiling.
EunDae thanked her and went out of the room. Rin sighted and went closer to him.
"You know, i met my soulmate yesterday, i just didn't wanted to tell you with her here, i didn't want her to bring her pain by memories" said Rin, taking the hand of the boy, who is also her friend. "Please wake up soon... Mark Lee... she misses you dearly... please wake up soon... i also miss your friendship" she said with tears blinding her vision.
"I'm back" announces EunDae. Rin quickly whipped her tear and smiled.
The two girl continued making him company until they both needed to go. They both bowed to Mark's older brother and left.
