"Mark has awoken"

Rin's eyes went big at the notice, her eyes went glassy and she felt excited. She hugged EunDae and cried of happiness. She missed her friend dearly and she missed EunDae being the happy girl she was.

"I'm so happy" said Rin smiling. "Are you going to the hospital after school?" asked Rin.

"yes, i want to see him, talk to him" EunDae said smiling brightly.

"Do you want me to come to you" asked Rin.

"yes, you can come if you wish to, he is also your friend" said EunDae.

They went back to the boys smiling brightly. Expressing how happy both of them were.

"why so happy?" asked Renjun. "a minute ago you were crying" he said pointing out at EunDae.

"oh, i think is time i explain to you all" she said as she sat down between Jisung and Jaemin. Rin took her seat next to Chenle and intertwined their hands.

"as you might know, I have already found my soulmate a while ago" she started explaining. "A year or so ago, he got into a car crash, were he was injured, in the end, he got into a coma, and he has been asleep since then. A while ago, his brother, Taeyong, called telling me that he was showing signs of waking up, and today he finally opened his eyes" she explained happily.

Everyone congratulated her and hoped her luck on seeing him again.

The bell rang and some hours later all went home, excluding Rin and EunDae, who went directly to the hospital.

As they arrived to Mark's room, they found Taeyong waiting for them outside. Both bowed to the older as he started speaking.

"I just want to tell you... he has memory loose, it's not to bad, but he might have forgotten a few things" he warned. Both girls nodded and went in.

"Mark...." EunDae whispered almost crying, looking at the boy she much loved looking outside the window and slowly turning to see them both.

She walked toward him rapidly and hugging him slightly, being scared of hurting him, as she sobbed. "I missed you so so much" she said as her sobs could probably be heard from outside.

Rin smilied as she saw how Mark hugged her with the little force he had.

"I missed you too... EunDae" he said pausing as he remembered her name.

"You remember..." whispered Rin.

"I might not remember who you two are very well, I just remember you are my friend, and EunDae is my soulmate" he said, looking at the red flowers next to him.

Rin noticed Mark couldn't quite remember her name, so she presented herself, just as the first day she met him.

"I'm Rin, EunDae's friend and also yours" she said.

They refilled memories from before Mark got into the accident, and told him about Rin's soulmate, Chenle.

Mark said he would have to stay at the hospital for a while, since he needed to get checked up and his health needed to improve.

Rin left a bit earlier so that Mark and EunDae could have a moment together. She took a cab to the nearest park to her home, since it was a bit late to go on subway or bus.

She thanked the driver and went off to seat in the swings. She was thinking of all that happened today, Mark waking up and Chenle arriving to school, which wasn't much but it had grate impact. She made up her mind on protecting Chenle and not letting him get hurt ever, as she wouldn't imagine herself now without him.

She felt someone's presence getting closer from behind her. She took of her shoe and was ready to strike, but just as she saw who it was, she breathed again.

"holly shit, i almost slapped you" she said looking at the taller boy, who was no other than her soulmate, Chenle.

"really? a shoe?" he asked laughing.

"it was the only thing i could use" she said putting it on again.

"are you cold?" he asked, looking at the girl
who had her uniform.

"oh, umm, a bit, but it's okay" she said crossing her legs to feel warmer now that he mentioned it.

"here" he said handing her his hoodie. She took it shyly and put in on. The hoodie looked like a dress in her, and she snuggled her self, smelling his sent and making sure to always remember it.

She felt a pair of arms embracing her, tightly and warmly. She slowly put her arms around him and snuggling into his chest, feeling his warmth embrace her, and his calm heartbeat.

"Rin..." he whispered. "I... I just want you to know that i'll always protect you" he said. Not really knowing how to express his feelings for her.

She made him the happiest boy in the world a couple of months ago, ever since he met her, his world had turn upside down, he now could see one of the prettiest colors, he now could have someone to be with him trough thin and thick, and now, he had someone to give all his love. But he was scared to tell her, they weren't even a couple yet, but he felt like his world was complete when he was next to her, or hugging her like he was now.

"I will also protect you with all I have" she said, slowly looking into his eyes.

Slowly, they began to lean in, Rin getting on her tiptoes, Chenle venting a bit. They both could feel each others breathing, and then, the space between them disappearing. A sweet and soft encounter, full of emotion, uniting what they both have wanted for a while.

"I love you, Rin" Said Chenle as they separated from the kiss.

"I love you too, Chenle"
