Why Me? Chapter 6

When Will got to school he couldn't stop thinking about Mike and their phone call. Lucas and Dustin would tease him about it, and that would get under Will's skin a little, but no enough for him to get triggered.
As always, Mr. Clark's class was first period. Mr. Clark went on and on about frog anatomy. Everyone- well almost everyone would be taking notes, but Will would miss some because he would look at Mike's empty seat. Just there, on the floor like how it always was. Right next to Will and behind Dustin.

After class, Will got pretty paranoid and left before lunch, swearing to himself he would be back by forth period. As he got on his bike, Will set off looking f r Mike.
'Where the hell is Will?' Lucas was asking Dustin, after they both sat down at their usual table.
'I dunno man. Probably getting all the notes he missed in every class.'

Will's first destination was Mike's house. But, knowing Will, he just looked through the windows to see if there was any movement.All he could see was Mrs. Wheeler and Holly, so he rode back to school, but the route Mike would take if he was late.

'So Steve lemme make sure everything is right, your younger brothers are Troy and James, the party's bullies since grade 3, you were on the way to school when you saw Troy so decided to follow him, witch led you to me. Right?'
'Yup.'
As Steve was in the middle of saying yup, Mike saw Will, riding his bike. He checked his watch to see what time it was. 12:47.
'Steve pull over here.'
'What why?'
'Just pull over!'
'Ok ok.'
As Steve pulled over, the car wasn't fully stoped when Mike got out and yelled 'WILL!' as loud as he could. Not surprisingly, because Mike yelled pretty loud, Will heard him. He looked over his shoulder and saw Mike, turned his bike around and rode over to Mike as fast as he could.
'Mike!' Will stoped his bike almost exactly where Mike was standing. 'W-why weren't you in school?'
'I was on my way over when I woke up late witch made me have to come this way, and unfortunately I fell of mah bike, landed in a ditch, broke mah arm, and Troy came over and tried to beat me up when Steve got here.'
'Wait like Steve "the hair" Harrington?'
'Yup. Turns out James and Troy are his brothers.'
'No wa-'
'Are to shitheads gonna get in the car or what?' Steve butted in the boy's short but lond conversation and got Mike in the car, but Will's bike in the trunk, Steve and Will got in the car and drove off to the hospital.
'You alright Mike?'
'Yeah Will. Thanks for caring.'
Will have Mike a soft boi smile and leaned on his good arm.
'Is this ok?'
'Its awesome.'

Yea I was wondering if I should make Max a bigger character now instead of just being the red head at the arcade. Jucas will still be real I just wanna kno of she should be more involved. 👌
