(8 years old) Hadrian POV:

I was sitting on the stairs watching my parents and everybody else from the order dote over my twin brother Charles. Why? Because he "defeated" Voldemort because he has a 'v' shaped cut on the back of his hand. I have a lighting bolt etched on my forehead but I guess nobody saw that because my hair was covering it, and blood was smeared when they touched my head at the time.

I know I'm the one who actually defeated him but honestly I'm not surprised they chose Charles to be the "chosen one" or "the-boy-who-lived". Why? Because he was always the favorite between the two of us. Even my own god father likes him more than me! Not that it matters anyways because I don't really like my godfather much, he's to loud, and obnoxious. I can say for the same to my dad, James. Remus I don't mind to much but he's to strict and only said hello to me then his attention would go to Charles and forget me immediately.

I sigh and get up off the stairs and head towards the front door. When someone suddenly stops me by holding my shoulder. I look up and see Remus; I give a questioning look.

"Where are you going Harry?" Remus asked me in a slightly strict tone.
"I was going to go to the park down the street." I said still lookin up at him kind of confused why he's so 'worried'.
"But you should stay here to celebrate your brother. He saved us all after all!" 'And there it was' I thought to myself. Remus exclaimed in an obvious tone as to why I should stay.
"Yeah... no thanks I would rather go to the park. But give my congrats to him." I said sarcasm dripping at the last part. I turn around starting to head back out when someone stopped me again. I sigh exasperatedly.
I look up to see my dad James.
"Yes father?" I asked
"Where are you going? You should be staying here! Celebrating your brother!" My dad or as I should say James yelled in my face.
Angry streaming though my body right now I feel my magic pulsing. That's another thing Dumbledore declared that I was a squib, so a few weeks ago I learned to conceal my magic that way they can continue to think I'm a squib. I mean I don't necessarily care about them just as long as I get my Hogwarts letter when I'm 11 then I'm fine.
I sigh. "Ask Remus. I'm going to the park." I said bolting to the door so nobody stops me. And it works.

As I was walking towards the park I turn around for some odd reason and see a bushy haired girl reading on the sidewalk that I am walking. For some strange reason I have the urge to talk to her. So I do.
I clear my throat to get her attention. And it doesn't work. I try again. I doesn't work. "Um hello?" I asked in a slightly loud voice. And that gets her attention.
"Um hello?" The girl asked confused.
"What are you reading?" I asked curious and intrigued.
"I am reading to kill a mockingbird." She said in a uptight tone. I could tell she doesn't really talk to people her age.
"I have read that it's really good!" I said in a excited voice.
"You have?" She said in awe.
"Yes I have! By the way my name is Hadrian." I said sticking my hand out for her to shake.
"It is a really good book this is my second time reading it. And my name is Hermione." She said shaking my hand.
"So, Hermione do you believe in magic?" Getting straight to the point.
"Um, no I don't. Why?" Hermione asked in a perplexed tone.
"Well you should because you are a witch like I am a wizard and I will show you since you don't believe me, and that's fine." I said shrugging my shoulders knowing she's not one to believe in magic even at our age.
"Oh really? Enlighten me." Hermione said.
"Alright lets go somewhere more private and not so out in the open." I said standing up.
"Ok lets go to my house we will show my parents if you are so sure about me being a witch." She said shrugging her shoulders still not believing in me.
"Alright lets go." I said.

We are walking towards her house and i start giving her more information about witches and wizards and how we go to a school called Hogwarts and the four houses they have when getting sorted.
"I think you would be in Ravenclaw since I can tell you love to learn, read, and gain knowledge." I said letting her know which house she would do good in.
"I think so too from what you told me about the houses. Gryffindor sounds like an arrogant house, Hufflepuff is to soft, and Slytherin doesn't sound too bad, but I don't think I would do well in that house." Hermione said voicing her thoughts.
"Ya all true. I think I would get into Slytherin since I can be cunning, ambitious, mischievous. Or Ravenclaw, but I don't think it's for me." I told her.
"Hey can I give you a nickname? Hermione is a bit long." I asked her.
"Um ya sure what do you have in mind?" She asked sounding slightly skeptical about having a nickname.
"Um well there Mia, Mione, Hermy? Which one do you like best?" I asked her thinking off the top of my head for nicknames.
"I like Mia it's more elegant than the other two." She said nodding along with what she said.
We pulled up to her house and she let me in, walking to the living room.
"Mum, dad can I have your attention please?" Mia asked.
"Ya sure what's up sweetie?" Her mom asked.
"Well this is Hadrian, and he said that I am a witch and he is a wizard and he can prove it to us. I have not seen proof yet because I wanted to be here with you guys if it is true. You guys should know." Mia told her parents getting her parents attention even more.
"Well Hadrian show us please." Mia's dad asked politely.
So with that I flicked off the light and turned it back on, I should them the black mist out of my hands, paper birds flying around them, and my protanus.
"Wow." Mia whispered awe. I look to see her parents and they look to be in awe of the magic also.
"So it's true then. You guys have magic!" Mia's mum exclaims excitedly.
"Yes I just wanted to let her know and also that there will be someone to notify you guys since they know you guys don't know of the magical world. But now you do. I am telling you this because you are not to trust the headmaster of the wizarding school. I will let Mia explain to you guys about the school we go to. There is something else that I need to mention." I said trusting them.
"What is it Hadrian?" Mia's dad asked.
"Well there is a "bad" wizard but was killed bot long ago. He is not bad at all he wants to help the wizarding community but everyone thinks he is bad. I killed him, but the headmaster claimed my twin brother had defeated him. The bad guy is Voldemort also know as Tom Riddle he was trying to save me from the light side but they thought he was trying to kill me and my twin brother." I said fully explaining to them as they should know this stuff.
"Alright this is a lot to take in, but thank you Hadrian for explaining to us what is going on and giving us a heads up on all this stuff. Because I feel like we would have been left in the dark." Mia's dad said to me appreciatively.

"It's no problem and you would have been left in the dark. It was also Dumbledore who had killed Voldemort. Dumbledore is the headmaster also." I said trying to clear some things up.

"Oh wow. I am so thankful that you have a friend like Hadrian, Hermione!" Her mum exclaimed. "Ya me too. Thank you so much Hadrian!" Mia told me.

Mia hugged me and her mum too. I was slightly uncomfortable since I wasn't used to hugs, but it felt comforting.

"It's no problem guys. I have to get home. I will see you later Mia." I said leaving towards the door.
"Bye!" Mia, and her parents yelled out to me.
I sigh walking down the sidewalk 'welp time to go to the potters house' I thought to myself.
