Shivay Pov

The day light which appeared few hours ago spreading its brightness to the whole city is now hidden behind the dark clouds. It looks like the rain will start in any minute soon, but here we are struck in the traffic in our way to Airport. Seems like the TIME is not on my side. First the Storm, next no network due to damaged cell towers, next my pilot struck in floods and now I am struck in this noisy Traffic suffocating for fresh air.

Its already two hours since we got in to this car, but still there is a long way to reach airport. Khanna and the two girls are peacefully sleeping in back seat not bothering about the traffic around us, where as me and the driver are looking ahead for ways to reach airport soon. For every 5 minutes, I am questioning the driver about how far is the Airport still? And he gives the same reply: Still 50 Minutes to reach the destination.

Being fed-up due to these noises, polluted smoke emerging from vehicles and sudden jerks of car which are results of sudden breaks, I removed my coat and tried to get down the car carefully with out hitting the car door to the guy on bike beside our car. After successfully stepping out of the car I took a deep breath to calm my self, but the smell of diesel and petrol hit my nose very hard that made me move away from the vehicles towards the farm on side of the road. I closed my eyes for few minutes and stood there to relax myself. When I opened my eyes I found our car moved 2 meters ahead.  Wow, great covering in distance. If this traffic goes like this, it will take 5 hours for us to reach airport instead of 50 minutes. Shaking my head in disbelief I crossed the road to look at my surroundings.

I have never been on to the roads on my foot after heavy rain, but now standing on the edge of the wet slippery road  watching the fields at river bank with heavy noises on the background made by vehicles is something different I never experienced in my life before. Slowly the rain drops starts with a cool breeze hitting my face hard and I turned back to my car direction to avoid drenching in rain. As I took two steps towards my car, I observed people around me are starring at my direction with shocked and horrified expressions. Being confused, I turned back and no one is there behind me. Everything looks normal as it looks before. The green fields, dark clouds and calm river..., wait the River. The down stream water flow in the river is increasing with force and now covering the fields. This means,.. Oh, No..

I turned back to see the people once staring at me are running in different direction now far from me. I ran towards our car to find Khanna is outside the car looking around confused and the girls are inside the car, rubbing their eyes and yawning still looking sleepy. Didn't they slept last night? The driver is no where to be found. I think he left the car after realizing the danger. I looked at my surroundings and found two buildings at my back left corner and one food storage center at my front left side.(Look at image:1) The rain drops are increasing blurring my vision.

Image 1 : The Yellow color Dot on the Road is where Shivay Car is. Cooum River is highlighted in Yellow box. Red color Box is food storage center, at front left and Pink color box is the buildings, at back left.

Khanna came to me and stood before me with worried expression, may be he saw the water level increasing behind me. People are still rushing here and there and dashing me in their way. Khanna being my body guard stood beside me with out running for his life and covered me from people rushing around.  I nodded my head to him and opened the back door for the girls to get out. Instead of coming outside they are staring at me as if I am alien. I leaned forward in to the car and said : I have no intentions to scare you. But you should know this.
