This letter/message is for my crew- or whoever's left of it when I eventually bite the bullet.
If we all died together then just screw this up and be rid of it.

To the one they vote in to be the new sarg here's some words of wisdom from the one before you and from what I remember of the one before me.

Dont let the deaths get to you, there will always be more soliders to take their place and be under your command and your responsibility.

But that doesn't mean you stop trying to hold onto the soldiers, brothers and sisters, friends and even family, because that is what fighting alongside one another, to have their back and them yours.

The struggle against death itself will cause you to grow bonds that will last a life time, however short ours will be.

So even if you were to lose your brothers in arms, your war family; just know that they'd still want you to go on. To continue to struggle and cheat death in their sted so they maybe remembered.

Once again dont let the deaths bother you, but you must never forget them.

As I write this I too am comforted by the fact that I will be remembered, this also applies to you too, Sargent.

-Unknown Imperial Sargent.

This letter has been passed down Beta squads Sargents for an unknown amount of years now.  I'm not much for tradition but my mentor before me made sure I had sworn to continue it before he passed and now I to you, to have you swear to also carry the burden and responsibility that is this role.
